Hi Fern.....another one here keeping an eye on you ;)

I noticed that you pointed your 160g potatoes as 5 points? Were they roasted in oil? If not, then spuds are only 1 point per 100g. (unless of course you have mashed them and added oodles of butter!)

its still very foreign to me, although already i can see why ex-ww'ers struggel to get points out of thier heads!
starting to get nervous now as feel i may have mis-pointed and not had enough points but equally have eaten thing that usually lead to gains for me? eeeeeeeek, only 2 more days till wi!

fry lite has zero points fern, but but only for so many sprays- i think it's 10, but whoever uses that much ?

I think you are doing brill, said before I've done ww and Sw and i like both but there is a definate difference in the variety of foods on both, but both do work if you follow them properly.

Ok missus... several points!

1: As you said in another thread your points allowance is 23 points NOT 18 so youve been under eating every day

2: One day you only had 15 points - thats EIGHT under your allowance, and under the 16 a day minimum you MUST have.

I know this is all so new to you but like SW, WW has to be followed properly. If you dont have a good week this week then I hope you give it another week and stick to it properly :whoopass:

Theres no point in depriving yourself and saving loads of points. If you need any help throughout the day PM me if you want, or if youre stuck, Im happy to give you my mobile number to text me x
 
Eeeeeek! sorry! i thought 18 was acceptable due to that being the point allowance in fast start!
iv actually not felt deprived, iv caught myself a little hungry miday once or twice due to lack of planning, but thats my own fault ! guess i just feel too cautious during the day but finding the points i have left over un-needed? (very unusual for me!) maybe im taking portion control and fear of running out of points too far? didnt appreciate how important they are?

will deffo keep with ww for a few weeks, as i do feel im learning from it, and may use it as ahealth hy way to reign in my greedyness when need be, or when i need an alternative to get back on the wagon as feel continuesly coting pooints focuses meewhen i lack motivation- if that makes sence!

Oh apologies missus, I didnt realise you were Fast Starting, it sounded like you were just trying to manage on 18 a day lol

Fast start is a double edged sword and honestly if youve stuck to it youre a better man than I am ;) My WW class leader didnt actually encourage it for the first few weeks cos its so low by comparison to a lot of peoples allowance and makes the transition hard.

Dont go under 16 though at all WW state everyone needs at least 16.

If youre doing FS this week and managing thats brilliant and I SO hope the scales are kind to you on Wednesday! But remember if you ARE hungry or struggling dont be scared to have the extra points.

I think when you go to your full points allowance next week youll see a HUGE difference food wise :)
 
ah, starlight- i have not followed FS, i simply read the booklet for ideas and went for it on my larry-lonesome!

Im not sure to be honest, hopefully not...

Look at it like this.... FS is like EE in as much as youre 'supposed' to have certain things and split your points certain ways (like EE youre supposed to have your SF food) BUT some people dont and still get losses.

On the other hand, not eating enough can have an adverse affect on losses too, hopefully the fact WW is SO different to SW itll be a good kick start to your system.

Ill have everything crossed for a good result on Wednesday :)

okay, i see the logic. i will continue up till wi with 18, as not to confuse my body, then will aim for 22 till hols!

thanks for the support starlight i really apprciate it- i would never have known else, no point me trying so,thing new if im not doing it right!.. keep those fingers and toes x'd and il stay positive! i realllllllly hope i get it off, will resist urge to wi at home / boots!

I dont think you'll have ruined it for yourself, Fern, simply due to the fact that any change in your eating habits will have shaken up your system a bit. I must admit i thought you had more info than it sounds like you have,so please please please ask me or Sandy or anyone-we're all more than happy to help .
I'm glad to hear that your intend to give it a few weeks whatever happens this wednesday-good luck for WI but I.m sure you'll be fine
 
thanks lentil! however that means my points were oober low that day ..

a mummy from work does ww and she thinks il be okay!.. i hope so, Despite my points being low, i felt like iv coped well this week - however today iv felt really unrelaxed, panicy and v. close to a binge. So far im wobbely but controlled .. have done food shop, am prepared for the week ahead with no going back! im certainly realising how bad my emotional eating has gotten..

Why are some people never happy with a lb?

I say it's a great result. I had a gain this week and I would have been more than happy with a lb loss ;) lol

TRy it this week Fern, with your full amount of points and see how you go. Don't forget, you are not going to have the massive losses like when you first started on your journey. You are at a healthy weight now so losses will be smaller (and harder...in my experience!)
