The weekend is here which I've been dreading but so far not hungry so will save my bar and start nibbling about 10am as I really can't eat a full one all at once, can't believe that as on slimming world I would have a massive full English on the weekend! My tummy is making strange noises which I used to thing was hunger but it can't be as I'm not hungry? I'm trying to listen to my body and hopefully find out some things about myself through this journey so I can make positive changes in the future. As desperately as I want to lose the weight I just don't want to be here next year having put it back on again x

Yeah I think you are right, how weird is it that any noise I would assume hunger and eat even though now I know it's not! My partner is having a hungry day today and eating every 5 minutes and it's killing me even though I'm no hungry! Roll on Monday :rant::rant::rant::rant:x

So today (Sunday) I was hungry and worried I was going to have a hungry day. Instead of feeling sorry for myself I've cut the grass then had a quick clean round the house, just sat down for some more water and realised I'm not hungry any more which is great! I feel much more in control through the week so really need to sort the weekends out.

Well I'm not very hopefull for my weigh in tomorrow :grumble: the scales are just not moving, think I'm looking at a 2lb loss:banghead: not sure why but could be beginning of totm which is my sticky point weight wise. Will do official weigh in tomorrow and try keep on track, I just hope that a small loss doesn't make me throw in the towel :badmood: x

Hey Bexster, been reading your journey since you started. Do NOT stress a small loss even if t seems rough.... Just add the weeks losses together and you'll be amazed.. I go a few weeks now and then with 1lb loss but then when I measure my waist I see inches less!!! Keep the faith. It works.
 
Thanks for that! Ives lost 15lbs in two weeks so I shouldn't grumble I just know what it does to me on a diet normally I just need to think of my goal..............a wedding dress!

It was great reading..... So you're welcome. :)

Oh and Try this.... Go to the supermarket, pick up 7 bags of sugar and then carry them around for 10 mins. When you get tired, you can just walk away and leave those bags there. A great boost and motivating :D

I wish I had taken measurements! I can tell in my clothes though! Bought some new jeans today, 2 whole sizes smaller than my last pair which I'm so pleased about, so whatever the scales say tomorrow I'm a happy bunny now :bunnydance: x
 
So it was weigh day this morning and as I suspected only a 2 lb loss (well 2.5 but I'm only counting whole pounds) so I'm unofficially in the 17's but I'm not counting it so will definitely be there next week. I am disappointed with 2lbs as not sure how that can be on 600 cals as had no extras this week, I know I have pms and that always shows a gain on the scales so I'm hopeful for next weeks weigh in.

May45 - I'm going to try your sugar idea tonight, who needs the gym when we can use what we used to carry around all day in body fat against us! Great idea thank you x
 
A loss is a loss!! Great work! I think it's easy to feel disappointed when exante offers such huge losses but I think it's best to see weight loss as a monthly thing. I bet next week you will have a bigger loss.

I keep trying to remind myself of that this week, my partners away tonight and tomorrow night and that's when I would think oh I will treat myself to a Chinese, bottle of wine, chocolate etc so I'm trying to go visiting family and friends to keep me occupied and then just got to get through the long Easter weekend and I will be ok! X
