Here I go...

I have decided to keep my own diary from now on especially to motivate me for the first week until I get the routine sorted and back into ketosis. I am still on holiday until next Monday but I know that if I keep going the way I am going I will never get back into the habit. This week I am going to have shakes only (didn't order bars this time) and swap a shake for a tesco ultraslim bar when I am back to work next week (shakes too messy to take at work and people ask too many questions). I know that these next few days are going to be difficult but I am going to just have to put up with it. I'm on antibiotics for a chest infection that I picked up last week so appetite not great (didn't stop me forcing food down my gob though :sigh:) but will help me now I am focussing all my efforts. I am now looking forward to that empty feeling as it gives me a buzz and more energy. Not going to weigh until next monday as I can't bear the thought of seeing the damage done so I hope that this week will take care of the Christmas excess - Good luck everyone :D

Thanks, I am now having my 3rd shake of the day (strawberry) and have managed 3 litres of water. Not too bad but considering I am sick of eating the last week that it makes a refreshing change to not feel bloated! Glad to have started back on the exante wagon!:D
 
Yep I am the same at the minute, so relieved at not feeling bloated and sick because of so much food. Why do we do it to ourselves!! x
 
I'm 'guestimating' that I gained 7lbs over Christmas but too scared to go near the scales until I have a week TS over with so I am hoping to lose that and a further 7lbs in January..what about you?
 
Glad it's going well those Christmas lbs will be off in no time :)
 
Good to know that we are all starting and restarting as we can support each other in the first few difficult weeks. I'm away to bed..roll on tomorrow..hope I sleep with an empty tummy!!!

That is the bonus of Jan nearly everyone is restarting :)
 
Well day 2, just had a vanilla shake but wish I had ordered some soups this time because it is so cold and windy today!! Not overly hungry but I know I will be by evening..so determined to get through this week 100% TS on the shakes. Already I can feel my mood improving, I don't know whether it is the fact that I like the feeling of gaining control again or that the carbs I have been eating make me feel sluggish and bloated - it is probably a combination of the two. Let's crack on everyone, we can do it!!

Day 3 - just had my banana shake..they are so much nicer whizzed up with crushed ice. Feeling good...have even lost that 'carb face' I lost over Christmas...ketostix also turning pinker - that was quick!! - normally it takes at least 5 days so I'm a happy camper so far today :D

Not too bad thanks but feeling quite headachy and tired today..also a bit bored. I'm still on holiday from work this week and it is amazing how much I would have filled my days off going for lunch etc....so I have been cleaning, walking the dog, oh, and tried to read my book but fell asleep for an hour!!! How are you doing?
 
Matching all the way, day 4, headache and I fell asleep lol. My book The Motivated Mind arrived today, so much for motivation :) I suppose while I'm sleeping I'm being 100% good :D
 
Ahh..when we are not sleeping..we are dreaming about food! Let me know if the book is any good as I need all the motivation I can get :D
