Here I go...

Weighed in this morning and...(drum roll)..1lb off!!! This actually pleases me as I have mucked around all week and had 2 meals at the weekend. One thing i am pleased with is the portion sizes I had (Friday a Thai curry and Saturday a hot and sour special) were half or what I would normally be able to eat before I started this diet back in September. One thing this diet has taught me is to eat mindfully and be aware of what I am shoving down my gob (I am getting less greedy). Now I am determined to get another good loss in February. 4lb off in a month is ok I suppose but too slow. I want to see numbers fast so I am now putting this challenge to myself and going for 100% all the way. I'll call it my February Fit Fast (FFF)..I'm away now to walk the wee legs off me and my dog. Day 1 starts here!!!!
 
Hi P did you enjoy your walk? It's bloomin cold here but I have been tucked up in bed sleeping intermittently.
I'm on for 4 night shifts but I am on track with my shakes this time lol.

Thanks Ali, I couldn't say the walk was enjoyable, freezing and soaked to the bone...you are better on in your warm bed! I booked a wee weekend to celebrate the end of my job in 4 weeks time so hopefully that will keep me on track with my FFF! You are so good, I can't wait to get on track again and feel the 'buzz'. So much for starting again...another weekend of failure with the result I have lost nothing....at least I am maintaining.:rolleyes: Starting today (again) so this is my day 1. Have lots of cleaning to do and need to distract myself, the weather is awfully dull and rainy here. I had planned to escape from the dreary day and go to the cinema but I know I will eat and say 'Start on Monday' so I have decided to be a grown up, think about my goals and clean the house! Ok I am already wasting time so here I go.......:):):)

Hi Dani, went ok thanks but so difficult today...someone at work had brought in a cheeseboard and crackers...it killed me turning all that down as I have a real weakness for cheese but managed to drink a vanilla shake instead. Having a chocolate one now and thats me finished for the day (had a bar for breakfast). Now to fill up on water and get an early night. I wish I hadn't wasted all that time in January as I could have had another stone off by now but that's life...got to keep on jumping back on that exante wagon!! Hope the day has been ok for you :D
 
Another good day today..couple of litres of water down so far. When I get to 6pm I know I can keep going for the rest of the evening. It is amazing how much more energy I have when I stay off the carbs for a few days. I am going to try and remember this feeling when the dreaded weekend comes around again! It feels good!!! :D:D:D
