I'm usually a terrible eater with very lazy food habits, eating out of boredom mostly!
Sw is teaching me to eat the correct food when im hungry and still have a little bit of what i fancy, its the best thing ive ever done! I only started going on 16-6-11 and my loss so far is 13lb with only one week of gain ( son's 18th) and i'm already two clothes sizes smaller and half way to target!!!

Way to go Trango n me lol!!

It's hard to balance having a life with the rigours of slimming. I have to admit I sacrificed quite a bit to get to target quickly eg I only ate out twice in seven months! I've joked I only have 2 speeds - 'stop' and 'go'. I quite envy people who can take a more balanced approach...But I knew I ahd to give it my all if i was ever to stand a chance of reaching target.
Sooooo committed! I too have two speeds - slow and slower! :D

The more balanced approach? I wouldn't quite call it that for me. I'm okay with food at home but the problem with living in Spain is that people want to come and visit you and take you out for meals! Plus lots of our friends (the over weight ones) go out at least once a week for a 3-course lunch (just so cheap here).

I resist the invites most of the time and when we do go to be sensible but the Spanish use full fat everything, serve everything with lashings of olive oil and don't serve vegetables with meals (you order a small salad with your starter).

How they are the healthiest people in Europe I don't know. Obesity is rare but becoming more of a problem now with the influx of McDonalds and Pizza parlours. At least I can resist those !!! :D

Elle - right I'm back on plan but expect a gain on Monday (or a STS at the very best) so I'm going for a mega loss for Monday 29th. Otherwise I ain't gonna make my blumin' target by mid-October. :(
 
Sorry peeps, I haven't been on for a couple of days as I was in London yesterday in the BB audience!!! It was a fantastic experience despite being soaked through in the 6-hour queue!! I've got a busy weekend in work ahead too so will be a bit scarce! I'll get here when I can!!

Well done Kerry for your first loss on the challenge! As you say 1/2lb is brilliant on *week as many people gain!! Elle hun, 1lb on isn't too bad and very easily reversible!! Especially for you and I know you're going to be really focused!! Sometimes I find a gain keeps me on my toes!XXXXX
 
Hi GBS - considering you're on holiday that's not too bad at all.

Looks like there's gonna be a fair few of us going for "strict" regime next week to get rid of our gains! :D
 
I have unfortunately found a "strict regime" in the form of not being able to eat without feeling like its gonna come back up again! I am eating very little because of this but what i am having is SW friendly-mainly green comfort food. So much for my red week to shift the gain!

Wow! A whole week off plan and I can gain 5lb !! So I think that's good going! And easy to correct next week! Sometimes it just feels good to relax a bit! It's the getting back on track part that shows we've cracked it! X
