Hey

It's made from he heart then ! Even made sloe gin picked the slows in the fields around the house !
Rach are you sure you haven't tried the cat lol :)

Morning!

Just going back a few posts, the tortilla base is very thin, but I prefer thin bases to deep pan or thicker ones, but they also should be a lot less of everything to ready made pizza bases (I think!)

I'm with you there on the sloe gin booboo! Hubby loves it! I love getting creative with goodies I find in the countryside - free too!!

Hope you all have a good day!

When things are free Passiflora you gotta take them....trying to figure out where i will be able to get wild garlic when it grows lol :):)

I am gonna try it also :)

Don't forget the oregano on the pizza, I find that it really gives the pizza that little touch that makes it a proper pizza!!

Booboo, I'd check out the hedgerows for your wild garlic, it's a strong smell when your driving down those country lanes!! I'm lucky that just by our driveway there are some raspberry bushes, they were so lovely last year, and also we've got blackberry bushes all the way up the path from our house up to the circular road of the fell, so I was out nearly every night for a fortnight last autumn with a jug and carrier bags, still got lots of bags of them frozen now!! Hubby works out and about in the countryside and last year I came home to a bucket of wild plums and damsons and one night found him plucking hazelnuts of the tree with a pair of litter pickers!! Bless!! He definitely got the "grow your own" bug last year, but perhaps that should be "drive slowly down country lanes, get your carrier bags out and see what you can pick on your own" bug!!

i prefer thin bases too i was thinking more along the lines of when you go to get it out the oven and dish up and eating as for me i cant eat a pizza with a knife and fork lol

i have tried it and for some reason it doesnt taste the same with a fork lol

Passiflora I make sure that i carry bags just in case lol......i am gonna have a good hunt down the lanes and in the fields.....:)

Well done Sal!! That's great!!

How are you doing with your breakfasts these days, are you managing to get them in?

thanks hun :D i am having breakfast on most days so getting there slowly even if its just a piece of fruit

not been on for a few days as been feeling blurgh :( for last 3 days been having oily poos and not sure why. yes i had couple of burgers in brown rolls the other day but afterwards i added up the g's of fat and it came in at 15.4g total and i have eaten a 18g meal before with no side effects. still sticking to it thou :)

I would say its the burgers Sall....unless you make home-made one's shop bought ones are high in fat ...

Was wondering where you were earlier.....chin up and move on hun......:)

they are yes but each burger and the rolls only came to 15.4g for whole meal. so cant work it out. thankfully today seems a bit easier
