I have a shake before work (about 7am) then my next one at 6pm and my final one about 10pm. I work two jobs so coupled nights a week I'm at one job 8am til 5pm and then start my other one at 6pm so spacing mine like this helps me get through the day and also cuts the want to snack in the evenings which is when I tend to crave food more out of habit! I think it's just a matter offending what works for you even if it's different everyday
