how do you lose 2 thirds of your self?

lo, town is actually warrington, has a reasonable shopping center and a small market. usually go to manchester for the christmas markets will need a flexi syn that day, birminghams is good too.

last year i went to munich and that was fabulous they have a huge international market which took all day to get round.
It was really cold -10 degrees so had to have lots of gluwein :D:D:D

managed town spent about 2 1/2 hours just wondering around, didn't see anybody i knew :D

realised it is about 7 months since i last went into town, lots of changes to the shops some new, and some big names gone

Was in town at 11.00 o'clock and it was lovely to see the town center come to a stand still.

will pop back later to do a food diary, already have tea in the slow cooker :D

Hi Mandy, its a long time since I went to Warrington or Manchester, have they got the christmas lights up yet, do they still do the christmas market in Albert sq in Manchester, last time went to the christmas market in manchester the children were little so don't know if they still have it, I do love a good market. xx

I bet you're really pleased with yourself after your trip to town today. Well done :D

:wow: what a star you are, amazing job on the trip to town, I bet you're really chuffed with yourself, I know I am really proud of your achievements xxx
I am so looking forward to getting out there and having a proper days shopping in town, might have to cancel it for tomorrow as this cough is really bad right now, but will see how I am in the morning.
Wish we had proper Christmas Markets here, if we do I haven't heard of one, used to be one in Pinner but not sure if it's there any more as I have been trapped in this blinking house so long lol :bighug: xxxx

Ooh yay well done on cracking the town trip! I don't think I've been in warrington's town centre - just been up to the ikea with me MIL-to-be and gulliver's world :p

I would love to go to one of the german christmas markets but I've got no-one to go with - my OH couldn't be boogered really, he's not big on christmas. I did german gcse at school but don't think I could handle a trip on my ownsome :( Heh and also my gcsegrade got dragged down to a B 'cause I was too shy to do the oral part of the exam justice so I'd be a bit lost speaking to folks

Yep Jane we still have the xmas market in albert square :D It's expanded like crazy though so there's market stalls on any spare bit of wide street they can get away with now lol I hate it and love it at the same time

Would be nice if we could entice you up to Manchester for our markets Lily :D We'd all have great fun if we could get over our anti-social hermititudinal habits lol

Hold that thought sweetie, as my confidence grows I am thinking a few road trips would be nice....not likely this year but don't discount next year, about time I got off my not so big butt and started exploring this country of ours and seeing as there are a few of you in or around Manchester it's definitely on my list of places to visit.
Plus I think if 1 of us was to do it then others might join in and give it a go xxxxx

I always have this hope Lo that with weight loss will give me back my confidence. IF it does and I sure hope so maybe a trip to Manchester wouldn't be out of the question and we could mooch the christmas markets together. I too would so love to go to the german christmas markets. A dream :D never say never eh?? I don't even have a passport :giggle:

Gosh I hope the markets don't end up being a big disappointment for you if we did all get together for them! I'm sure we'd still enjoy ourselves all the same :)

I'll take lots of pictures to tempt you all for next year :D

If I go to one of the german markets I'd probably try one of these coach holiday ones Christmas Markets - European Coach Holidays, Tours and Coach Trips | National Holidays some bargains on there, my dad's been on a few breaks with them, I've not got round to it yet. I've promised my son we'll go on the disneyland paris holiday when I'm at target :D

Hey Mandy, see what you're venturing out has done? It looks like we are going to visit the German and any other Christmas Markets all over the world and if they're carp we're all going to get fat again drinking all the Beer, which is fine by me as that way we'll all have to stay on minimins longer to get it off :giggle:
Hope you're having a fab day sweetie and well done for being up so early and doing all your exercise and dog walking :wow: you really are amazing xxxxxx :bighug: xxxxxxx

OMG!! I was jus talking about German chips and mayo last night and haven't been to Germany in 12 years. Isn't that funny, wonder if its a sign for something? X

I'm being good and carrying on with the 'water challenge' as a permanent thing :D Definitely think getting as much in during the day is the key - I had one or two days where I was too busy last week and I really couldn't face trying to chug down almost two litres in the evening

How's it going down the gym - braved the swimming pool yet? Really wishing I could join one too but I wouldn't feel safe travelling to one in the evening and don't know how'd I fit it in during the day in the week :(

Pod Women Invade Germany... what a cracking newspaper headline :D xxxx

need to tweak the lasagna recipe a bit, tasted lovely (must of done cos teen ate his with out complaint and asked if he could do it with quorn for the GF ) but it was a bit wet:eek: needs less sauce next time
I forgot how much water the courgette would give off but next time I will cook it first to get all the moisture out, it definetly will be on the menu again cos it was really nice.

tweaking the cous cous stuffing recipe tonight made it with onion, apple, herbs and garlic have used an egg to bind the mixture. out to perfect all this for crimbo:D
