How to lose half your body weight in 10 days (Or a bit longer!)

Good luck for WI today. I lost 2.5 this week and was chuffed! Just missed 5 1/2 stone by 1/2 lb. it will be mine next week!

I am disappointed for you. I thought your food last week sounded brilliant?

I only bake for work really, I love baking but can't justify it for just the two of us. I guess you're feeling pretty poopy. Anything I can help with?

Today is red
B: bacon sandwich (heb) brown sauce (0.5) pear and banana
L: chicken salad and hea cheese, apple and yogurt

I got some chicken thighs defrosting and I'm going to make up some casserole with swede mash. 2nd hea is on milk. Dunno what the 2nd heb is going to be.

Food sounds yummy! I am so hungry today but I am also suffering with stomach pains so I don't want to eat very much. I'm really feeling bummed out about my gain. Sorry to harp on about it here but I know you can empathise! I trust in the plan and stick to the plan but it bugs me that if it doesn't work people will think I'm cheating and lying about it. Sigh. Give me some peace and positivity! :)

I love baking too but I'll only end up eating it. I bake every year for a Board Games Weekend at my friend's parents' house. If I don't turn up with a cake there are serious questions asked! This year I made black treacle ginger cake, cherry bakewell slices and rocky road. Om nom nom nom nom. Thankfully I don't get much of a look in!

Harp away my love! It is so frustrating, I'm trying to not see it as a weekly thing. So if the result didn't come this week it isnt the end of the world, I'd have to be on plan the next week anyway. And ******** to what other people think. Most people who have been at it a while have been there themselves so know what it is like, just like me :) others will be more concerned with their own progress to pass judgement, the rest are knobs so who cares what they think? !

Try to eat little and often so you don't feel hungry but also dont upset your hurting tum. Peppermint tea always helps me.

Dinner was lovely a complete bung it is and see jobby. I finally bought the budget book and have been planning this week's meals all red with extra easy on Monday. I just need to adjust my shopping coming tomorrow and we are good to rock and roll :) trying some more new recipes, including the chicken and bacon pot with swede rosti top. Yum yum. I only ever boil and mash mine so it will be interesting to see.

Thanks lovely. I think it's the downside of a new group made up of new members - you get the brilliant enthusiasm and commitment but they're still in the fabulous early losing streak. I feel like they think I might infect them with my non-losing-ness! I'm being silly, I know. Feeling brighter today though - I just need to still feel this positive on Tuesday! As you say, I'll be on plan anyway, no matter what the result. It'll come off eventually.

Bung it in jobbies are some of the best! One of the girls at group has the budget book and she's been making lovely stuff! She's lost 5 stone in 26 weeks! The chicken and bacon pot sounds delicious. I love a rosti - I'm just terrible at making them. I'll have a flick through it when I'm at group next week. I've got the EE Entertaining one coming soon. OH is loving all the new recipes. I think I'm going to make the garlic greens from the Asia book again this weekend - I love them.

Tummy is less painful today. I sat and picked at a bowl of spag bol for an hour and a half last night, which isn't like me at all. Hopefully this weekend will bring better things. I'm trying ScanBran at lunchtime... Wish me luck!

Good luck! I don't envy your lunch! I have leftovers. We have a bloke who has just lost 4 stone super fast and he is just realising it isn't always like that. I'm sure they don't think you will "infect" them!

Tesco crewed up my order and sent 40p of bananas and £1.10 of carrots instead o the other way round. But I did get 1kg of chicken thighs instead of 650g for the same price so that's good. Literally cannot fit anything else in my fridge. Looking forward to scoffing it all.

B: magic pancakes (heb1) with melon, raspberries and pear.

Lunch will be yesterday's dinner leftovers, dinner is prawn stir fry

Yesterday finished on 6.5 syns. I had an extra HiFi bar. I forgot how lush the rocky road ones are. I've not had them in ages.

I think Nate and I will go on another big walk tomorrow. It was 1.5-2 miles and my c tried to make out it didn't count because Nate and I walked together rather than me pushing him in the pushchair. We still covered the same damned distance! Nate's still snotty and a bit ploppy so STILL can't go back swimming.

Yeah - we had the discussion on walking at group this week as my C has started a big push on Body Magic. Apparently it has to be a brisk walk. I dispute this. OH and I are part of the work walking club and I'm used to going on good stomps. One of the guys wears one of these Garmin trackers and it tells us our speed, distance and calories burnt etc. When OH was on crutches we did one of the usual walks but a lot slower than usual and apparently this meant we burnt a lot more calories - nearly 1000 instead of 700. Surely anything is good?! OH is away this weekend so I might go for a good walk too. I was going to head to Covent Garden to get my eyebrows done so I might walk from the station instead of getting the tube.

Good news for me - I got my breakfasts muddled and had my Alpen Light and HiFi light so my HexB is already gone for the day - no ScanBran for me! Maybe tomorrow. I also stocked up on Rocky Roads this week - I had to stop buying them last time because I got a bit addicted and was squeezing them in everywhere! Yum yum yum.

Yep, apparently we burnt more going slower (2.5mph rather than 4ish).

Ooh I hope I don't become a person that brings on wedding rage in anyone! What happened?

I have drink rage. I was saving my syns for vodka but I think the pint of "Diet" Coke my friend bought me was actually full wonga. Woe! 12 ******* syns!! No vodka for me. :(

What a naughty friend! So easily done though I guess. How strange about the walking thing. I guess slower you take more paces, so your legs are moving more, and so more calories burned??

The bride screwed up and doesn't understand where she lives is her place of residence. I've spent all week trying to sort stuff out and then she got her dad to call me who implied I was incompetent because I wasn't willing to falsify a legal document and I was the only person doing it properly. It's been long and stressful and I had better things to be getting on with.

He's a boy so he probably just didn't think!

That's ridiculous! If she's got it wrong then she's got it wrong and it needs to be changed! My sister-in-law's sister is having trouble with an ex-tenant who wanted her to leave them on the council tax register so they could lie to get their daughter into a particular school. He kicked up a right fuss but she was trying to explain he was asking her to partake in fraud. There are things you don't fudge, and one of them has got to be wedding documentation!

Afternoon Fran hows you hunni? What an utter t*t that woman and her dad are!! How thick can some ppl be?

Em - ive been eating the oat scan bran with philli light and tomato on, theyre not as bad as I thought they would be, but they certainly require lots of fluid to wash them down lol. I had 3 on the morning and 2 later I dont think I could do 5 in one go no matter how much fluid I had to hand lol
