Hey Anju. No. There's no cure or tablets for it. Just management. Grandma is fine. She has a shiny new hip and is finally going into a home, which is where she needed and wanted to be. I'm not published yet! I've sent it off. Then i wait 3-6 months and if they don't respond I send it some place else. It'd be in print and possibly digital too. I wrote it for Nate though so if nothing else comes of it it's served it's purpose. It was because there are 3 books dealing with single mothers that don't bring in ivf, same sex couples, adoption etc. I didn't want to confuse the issue. 1 book was writted in the 80s in America, 1 referred to a dad calling a little girl throughout her life, making promises and letting her down and the third was awful basically saying I have no money, no time, no energy, but it's ok because we have fun. I didn't think it appropriate to say those things to a 3 year old so I wrote a story about a young cow, called little pat, asking his mummy about where his dad is, who his dad is, why doesn't he live with them, does he love him etc and this goes on from supper time until bed and his mummy answers all his questions and he goes to sleep feeling safe and loved. It seemed crazy there wasn't anything suitable out there but if you want to explain death, same-sex families, ivf, adoption, fostering... well the world is your oyster!
I have been wallowing in food for a while. I'm just starting to be more calm and less "I need sugar to give me some energy!!!"
Lol Kathryn you see me blahing most days!
