How to lose half your body weight in 10 days (Or a bit longer!)

Hi, thanks anju, you look like you are doing really well so far, 1 stone down already!

Minks, I think you were right to take this week off. It is good to have the odd rest from group to let you gather yourself for a few days. I know you will be back in the 11s by next weigh in because you share the same stubborn streak as me!

We are pests for wanting each others stuff, but I have yellow toned in my skin, dark hair and pear shaped, mum is apple shaped, blonde hair and pink tones so we look totally different in stuff.

Laura, I give you a virtual kick up the bum. You can get those 2lbs off this week and you know how. I think getting away with being bad last week meant you didn't get the kick you needed this week just gone. If you can spot times or reasons why you go wonky you can put things in place to get you were you want to be.

I will be back in the 20s either today or tomorrow I've just been a bit stressed and whiney and didn't want to bug you all or bring down the positive mood going on.

Well I lost 2lbs, which I am pleased with, but I am not happy with this month as a whole. Hoping my good month, bad month theory kicks in for march being a fab one. I am 1lb away from my 5 stone award and 3lbs away from a total loss of 6 stone. Best of all I don't need to do fast forward. YAY FOOD! So I will be planning tonight. I got called a sexy muffin today, lol, my response? "more like double muffin" Haha. A lady knitted Nate a lovely jumper, and Nate sat in class chattering "old ladies" to himself. Whoops! Mum has now rejoined and seems super positive and she is doing it for her and she's not getting side tracked by her friends. When she joined she made 4 good friends, 3 are at target and the other one just goes up and down. I've said to mum she can be friends outside of class but that hour needs to be for her, to get where she wants to be, and she can go for coffee after group, not instead of group. And she agrees, I hope she keeps up this positivity because she looked brilliant before, and she hasn't put it all on so she has a headstart. So it was a good group, now I need to run downstairs for lunch! Yummy!

It's a pain in the proverbial about the housing appointment. I live in a shared ownership flat and the housing company is awful at making/keeping appointments. We waited around one Saturday for a defects inspection and eventually it emerged that we weren't in her diary. They're also doing corrective plumbing work on the whole building at the moment and we were told we would be contacted from 7th Feb to make an appointment for the plumbers to access our flat. So far we can tell from caller ID that they've tried to call us on 2 evenings when we weren't in, but they haven't left a message even though we have an answering machine. We're not mindreaders - we wouldn't even know if it weren't for caller ID! If they want us to call them back then they need to leave us a message to say so! :grumble:

Sorry for that rant... Everything crossed retrospectively for this morning and well in advance for tomorrow! Sounds good on the overcrowding front! Squeeeeee!

Thanks minks. I'm just sticking to staying 100% for lent I've had 2 syns today and as it seemed i sts on 8 a day and I lost 2 on 13 surely I owe it to myself to have something up to 13 syns. Muahaha. I love picking put a treat from my sw bag on an evening. My parents laugh at me trying to choose. I think it will be a kitkat chunky or a full size twirl.

thanks anju. It's only 4 stone 13lbs with sw so I will have to wait some time for the 6 stone sticker. I have seen one for 21 stone so she is well stocked!

Aww thanks Tata. I'm only down half a lb this month. It has been a rotten 4 weeks, I just need to keep doing my best and it will come. My consultant checks syns and healthy extras with me and knows I know the plan inside out, I just need to remember that during the times the weight won't shift, and I have fast forward in the drawer should things get that bad! My c thinks I had cut back too much so my body wouldn't let go of the weight. I don't think I had cut back at all but those extra 100 calories a day seemed to be what I needed. I was sorry to hear about your gain and the death of Ben and jerry ;) you get on soups and easy to chew foods and you'll not need to worry about your teeth. If you blitz up some frozen berries with sweetener and natural yogurt you have a much lower syn ice cream treat to enjoy. Honest I love it in the summer. Lentil shepherd's pie should be quite good for you too.

Mum is back on the plan. We worked out the menu for this week and she asked me to write it up on the black board wall. I just need to do them a shopping list for tomorrow for the few bits we still need. She gets hungry at 4pm so we have factored in snacks. She has made a dip, and I've made a fallafel mix to chill in the fridge overnight. I've made sugar free jelly and she can make the pepper soup as I won't be having any of that. I'm putting caramel snack a jacks on the list too (the big ones). She will have a kick ass 1st week and I will have a fab first week of march! I need to drop 2lbs a week to his my Easter Target.

Laura how have you been post weigh in?

Adelle she did sw before I did, but since her thyroid went wrong she's just had lots of extra syns and gets quite annoyed by my wanting to do the plan properly. But she has said herself she feels really positive and focussed. She has been great this past month in picking me up when I've gotten down over the scales.

None scale aim this summer is to go out in bare legs at least once! Just to be clear that doesn't mean t shirt and knickers. Eww, but I tried a dress on of mine today and the leggings looked silly so I took them off and I think I looked ok in my bedroom so hopefully when it is warm I will brave going out like that!
 
Its great that you can do it together Fran and pick each other up when your having a bad day etc. Its good shes in a positive place too.

Will wait for the wit woo pics in the summer dress :D you will look great chick
