How to lose half your body weight in 10 days (Or a bit longer!)

Ah thanks guys. I dunno if I will hear today. I might not know until next week, but she mentioned there was a meeting today when she called of Friday needing another document. I'm glad I saved the £300 my Grandad sent me. And I sold some cloth nappies so I have a cheque for £83 too. So that's all going on house stuff if i get it!

Those pennies will come in handy for your new home. I really hope you get some good news soon :)

well I've not heard anything yet. Mum reminded me after their meeting they then have to get approval from the parish and they're not going to tell me what's going on at each stage. I'm rubbish at being patient!

I took Nate and the dog out again for a walk to the field and a run round throwing balls and stuff, so that was good. Nate's been super clumsy today, falling over and bashing his head. he fell over in the driveway and tore his new trousers and cut his knee, he banged his head on the back wall and he tripped and bit his tongue. He also fell over a bunch of other times. If he was anyone else's kid I'd think something was wrong with him!

Meals have been yummy this week and I've been able to take a back seat with a lot of the cooking which has been brilliant. Weigh in tomorrow morning. I've not been that bothered about my own weightloss this week. I've been following the plan to a T and filling in my food diary and drinking even more than usual, so hopefully I will come home happy tomorrow with a cheeky 5 stone award and a happy mum with a good loss too. If she losses 1.5lbs or more she will be pleased, and if she loses more than me.

Hi Fran how ya doing hun? No news is good news so they say - were all keeping our fingers crossed for you. Aww poor Nate bless his little cotton socks they can be so clumsy cant they. Great to hear your about your meals this week and the lack of having to cook them :D Im sure WI will be good to you and you WILL get that award. Hope your mum does well too x

Poor Nate, bless him falling over a lot today.

I hope you do get your award tomorrow, fingers crossed for that & house news

Thanks guys. She said at the visit this time I will get told either way, and I did forget about the parish meeting and stuff too so I'll just be awaiting the call whenever it comes.

Hoping tomorrow is good, I've not been as worried and stuff because I've been helping mum and she's been doing a lot of the cooking so I've been taking the dog out more (with nate). It's been nice being more relaxed (still on plan and filling in my food diary and stuff.)

Nate takes after his mummy in being a clumsy fool I'm afraid. So proud of him as he now loves prawns too. He adores nana's risotto. Poor lamb, when I got back I said I'd get started with tea, then mum said she'd do it and left it another half an hour so poor nate was asking for food before tea was ready as it was later than normal. Bless him, he was saying "please" and everything. So I sat him down with a bowl of grapes while it was coming (and then cooling outside). He had a late lunch so it wasn't too bad. Grapes, prawn risotto, banana, treat size pack of buttons, yogurt was his tea! The risotto was full of superfree too. I hate the idea of him having to ask for food. Makes me feel so guilty. It is stupid though, it is normal to ask for food when you're hungry, and it is normal to be hungry.

Awww bless little Nate! Sounds like he has a day and a half and needed to be wrapped up in cotton wool :D I'm a huge clutz so can sympathise!

What risotto did you guys have? I'm always looking for new risotto recipes. Really glad your mum is 'on it' with SW now, must help you what with her cooking and giving you some free time.

Fingers are crossed we see a 5 stone shiny today. Good luck for WI sweetness xx

Fingers crossed for an amazing 5 stone award today. Good luck, you deserve it xx

Ooh Fran, I hadn't noticed that you're at your halfway point! It's a downhill journey now!

Bless little Nate. I was an incredibly clumsy and malcoordinated child - always covered in bumps and bruises. When I was at uni my mum started work as a Special Needs Assistant and went to a conference on dyspraxia - and she said basically they described me! Apparently as a child I couldn't have any clothes with buttons because I just couldn't manage them. I had to get a special school uniform with zips and velcro because it took me so long to get changed for PE. We used to do the BAGA gymnastics awards in PE and I got stuck early on because I couldn't bounce a ball 30 times without it flying off across the room! My mum thought it was just because I was left handed but now they think there was more to it!

I hope all went well at WI. And I wish the house people would hurry up - don't they know that half the internet are waiting in anticipation?!! If it's an unfavourable decision I think us minimins should all sit on the doorsteps and not let anyone else move in. Plan.

Lol, I love your plan! I've known someone who is dyspraxic so I know it isn't that, he is really good at puzzles and picking things up of the ground. It might just be because he is so tall and grows so fast that he can't really gauge his body and movements so well. Or he is just like me and all my family amd just really clumsy. That's so cute you had velco for your pe kit. Bless you!

Minks I will pop up what she puts in later so I can double check.

Well we've been to weigh in. Mum was disappointed in losing a lb. I was thrilled in losing a lb because I got my 5 stone shiny! Woop Woop! Next aim is 2lbs to give me a total loss of 6 stone. Then 3lbs after that will bring me down to obese stage one. Weee. So I'm not over half way done! Huzzah, and should my inch in height chose to return i'll have even less to lose. Very pleased :)

Thanks re recipe. But more importantly - Wooo! well done on the loss and getting your shiny! Fab little markers all coming up for you, so chuffed you had a good loss :) Any plans for the rest of the day to celebrate? xxx

Just popping by to subscribe. You've done amazingly so far! My little one is also pretty clumsy, I think in Grace's caseit's a side effect of the terrible two's and not enough sleep!

I think I might have over estimated my target weight but I won't know til I get closer to it I guess. I was really skinny in late teens (size 6-8) and piled it on in a bad relationship, then lost a lot to almost marry the tw*t, left him, lost a bit more weight, got a new good relationship and had Grace and piled it back on again. I think I'll always have 'curves' (big bum - in fact I've previously compared it to a shelf!) but my boobs are disappearing before my eyes! To be honest I just want to feel happy in myself as opposed to a set number on the scales. I'd also like to not be described as 'the big one' or 'the plump one' ever again!

Minks, the risotto is made like a normal one with a base off leeks, garlic, risotto rice and stock, we chuck in chopped courgette and you can add more superfree. We also used 30ml of vermouth (50ml is 2.5 syns total), then near the end we add raw king prawns and scallops (from the freezer section) and peas and chorizo sausage chopped off and dry fried with the fat drained off (we then sat it on kitchen paper to get all the oil off and it is 6.5 syns per 100g, we used 80g), the zest of one lemon and it's juice.

Emma I can't ever imagine you being referred to as the big one unless you were friends with people who were 3 foot tall! I'm sure you will find your comfy weight :) I'm just sorry you had to go through all that rubbish first.

Thanks adelle and texty. The scales did try to go up half a lb but went back down. I had about 14 syns a day this week. I'm having more syns now than when I started but if I cut back my weightloss doesn't go the right way!

I tried a scan bran cake today. Split it with mum so I have half a heb left. Mum loved it! She wants it for mother's day pudding! I will have to make mini ones else she will eat it all. She stole some of mine!
