HWW food diary

I agree & was concerned that without my evening treat I would struggle. The lasagne however did look delish! Here is the half that's left for 2moro's dinner ...

Mmmmmmmmm! Looks so yum! Loving the crispy top! What will u serve it with? X

It should probably be just salad, however I do like to have some form of potato, so will cut up 2 new potatoes, boil in the microwave, add frylight & grill them.

I'd have to have Garlic Bread or Doughballs if it was me! X

Ooh now that's a thought. I can't afford to use 2 many pp so early on the week.

I do add piri piri dry seasoning sometimes 2 the 'chips' before grilling which is nice plus a bit of vinegar.

I love adding Nandos Salt to my homemade chips/wedges! Makes me feel like I am there! X

I would always struggle without some treats at the end of the day and think they are necessary for those of us who are that way inclined. Nothing wrong with saving a few pp for that purpose.

Lasagne looks lovely. Did you get the recipe from the ww mag? I saw one in last month's I think and was thinking of giving it a go.

I've always needed a daily treat or I feel deprived and more likely to give up.

No it's just one we've thrown together over the years. We make the Bolognese as we would for Spag Bol and then layer it in a big dish with part cooked pasta sheets & white lasagne Dolmio sauce, grated cheese & fresh toms on top. In the oven for approx 40 mins....Delish!

Do u pre cook the lasagne sheets even if says they don't need to? X

Yes as I did notice a difference when I didn't, but only for 10 mins & it would be fine if I didn't :)

Lasagne - yum yun. Not had this for a long time, used to have it all the time but with chips and garlic bread!!. Now I'd be more likely to have it with salad like you're doing tonight. I'm looking forward to my chickpea and tomato curry this evening with pitta bread, should be ready to eat at any time now.

Hope you've had a good day.

Nic xx
