I love XFactor.

I think it must have been. I am so dissapointed that there seems to have been so much manipulation in this series.

I thought this made interesting reading.

16.8m viewers tuned in to the X Factor semi-final results show on Sunday evening but was it all a fix?
For the first time in the semi-finals there was a sing off between the two contestants with the lowest phone in votes.
Mary Byrne and Cher Lloyd were given one final chance with the judges choosing who goes through to the final, not the phone votes.
The sing-off wasn’t mentioned until the last minute when the bottom two were announced and as could be expected the judges choose to save Cher.
Simon, Sunday 31st Nov. on the XtraFactor:
Finally, we can put this back in the hand’s of the public.
Louis, 1st Dec. on Irish Radio
It’s all down to the public now, the judges no longer have a vote.
Dermot, Saturday 4th Dec. on the X Factor:
The vote is now open, and will close in tomorrow night’s result show.
It’s now all in your hands. It’s your votes and your votes alone that can get your act safely through to the final.
ITV Website:
Series 7, Episode 9
Britain has been voting over the last 24 hours and now the semi-finalists find out the result of the public vote. The act with the fewest votes will leave the competition, and the others will compete in next week’s final. Including live performances from the cast of hit US series Glee, former X Factor winner Alexandra Burke and chart-topping group the Black Eyed Peas. Hosted by Dermot O’Leary
Fairly conclusive I think.

I think most know the show is pretty much fixed in favour of what Cowel wants but this year, its been too transparent IMO. The decision to save Jedward over Lucy last year was the beginning of the end for any credibility for Cowel.

This weekend, he had a pop at Mary on the Xtra factor coz she had given her opinion on him the night before. He phrased it in a way that said, 'well you had the audacity to criticise me so you deserve to be gone'.

No doubt he will see no problem with taking money for a vote for which he changed the rules half way through to save Cher.

All I can say is that Cher must have a top drawing duet lined up for the weekend which made her worth saving. Maybe she will be dueting with Princess Cole. :D

yes i heard that Cher is dueting with Cheryl.

have also heard that Prince is performing. so is he performing alone or with one of the others. i hope personally that he performs with Rebecca.

x

I was reading the results lists from the voting on sunday it says Mary had 15% of vote with Cher at 17% Matt was top of the list

If this list is right Mary would have gone anyway, it still doesnt make it right IMO they should have gone with the original format.

My daughter is going to see matt tonight at his homecoming gig, my partner is taking her....just to see Danni Minogue lol

As much as I love it, even more so now that Wagner and Katie are out (I was SO happy that they both went out in the same week!), I just want it to end already :(

I think each act left is perfect and they all deserve to win. They all have such strong voices, so much talent, would be amazing in different markets, and if they all got record deals straight away, I could imagine them being the top 4 artists in the charts at Xmas.

I love Rebecca's flair, grace, elegance, style, and most of all her vulnerability. She has grown so much over the past couple of months, it's so heart-warming to see her beautiful face light up with life when she sings.

I love the passion that Matt sings with, and how he captures the hearts of his entire audience by getting so into his vocals that you feel like you're intruding on his personal feelings, but at the same time like he's letting you into his world to experience that high with him.

I love One Direction's cute little butts. :p They are talented individuals that have gelled so well together as a group. They were given the opportunity to come back to the X Factor, and they have not failed to please. Britain can never have enough good, current bands that can prove to the world that we do have talent - notice how I didn't say 'boy bands'.

And I have saved my favourite for last - Cher. From the moment I saw her first audition, I had goosebumps. To this day, when I watch the clip, my arms tingle and I can't help but smile from the bottom of my heart. She is such a talented girl, she knows what she wants from her life, and she is going the right way about it. She is young and vulnerable, yet grown up and strong. She is unique. She can, and she will, go very far. They all will!

Seriously? Oh I cant stand Cher, absolutely cant stand her. Hate her arrogance, hate the stupid face pulling, hate the tears and most of all hate her (c)rap style.

I do hope shes out first, Rebecca next and then dont mind who wins between One Direction and Matt

I am with you on this one - I detest her whole style and endless dramatics just seem so fake

But I also do not see the attraction of Rebecca with the total lack of personality - she just sends me to sleep - and her warbling verges on the off tune at times

As i'd post very similar to Starlight I'll reword it.

Cannot stand Cher, intensely dislike her arrogance, intensely dislike the stupid face pulling, intensely dislike the tears and most of all intensely dislike her (c)rap style.

She comes across as false, little miss tough cookie until it comes to sing offs and then shes little miss vulnerable. And according to reports she really is little miss tough cookie.

I don't know the girl so I cannot say I hate her but I do intensely dislike to the point of hatred, her entire act.

Me too. I dislike the image she portrays. The face pulling is no annoying, almost cringe making and how Cheryl can want her as a minime I do not know.

She doesn't even sing well.

Not liking is one thing. But hate?

She's just a child. I find all this very disturbing.

Oh for pity sake it was just a phrase  A phrase people actually use a lot on here about many things. Disturbing???

Ok...

Better????
