Thank you all ladies for the above. The scan was OK had a litre of yucky stuff to drink but it hadn't been stirred. so early on it was fine and got stronger and nastier as it went on. Then a drip thing in my arm (hate them) but the actual machine was OK. Also plus point for brevia bra as no metal fastenings I managed to retain some dignity. YIPPEE.

Weekend away was also good but had some interesting moments. On the first day we managed to lose one of the ladies in Blackpool for hours. Police were involved in finding her and as luck would have it I was the last person to see her. I was interviewed by the police about where and when I saw her and which way she went etc. Only slight problem with this was I knew she had gone right at the bottom of the stairs and out a door but I had no idea where the door went. Anyway about 10 mins after the police spoke to me in St Annes and radioed the info to Blackpool she was found. Roughly the direction I had said but I've no idea if I helped in any way.

We were lucky with the weather till the last evening and the trip back up north. Since then I've been catching up on lost sleep and pottering about doing a few jobs that I needed to get round to. Mainly just chilling out though. So now I've switched the lappy back on and am going to try to get caught up.

Not sure what the next step is after the scan results get sent to requesting doc. My renal consultant. I have my next appt' booked but she did say she might see me sooner depending on the results I'll just wait and see. How's it going with you? I've not got to your diary yet.

Considering it was a long weekend only we packed quite a lot in and it's taken me a few days to catch up on my sleep. The good thing though was I ate tons of rich food and have been living really simply since I got back, think it will make getting properly back on plan seem easy.

What a weekend! But glad you had a nice weekend away. My hubby and I keep saying we should go to Blackpool sometime.

I didn't see much of Blackpool itself but the lasting impression was I don't think I've ever seen that many chippies in such a small space. Then we were in the shops. The illuminations were good though but seen from a bus in the pouring rain. We never really got a chance to go to the Pleasure Beach but I get the feeliing that's the main attraction.

Hope you had a good w/end and manage to get school sorted out OK.

Thanks Kally. We only sampled one chippies output but it was good. I just couldn't believe how many there were. Still trying to catch up on your diary, spend all day yesterday dipping in and out but didn't manage it during sneaky times More fun for today then.
