Hi everyone,

This is my planned diary for this week coming - starting Monday 6th January 2014

Monday
B - Boiled egg and solider(HE), Banana & Apple. Cup of Tea (HE milk)
L - Ham salad (lettuce, tomatoes, sweetcorn, grated carrot, red onion, pickles, SW mini quiche, slice of ham.
D - SW chicken tikka masala, rice & fruit salad

Tuesday (at work)
B - Rasher of bacon & beans on toast (HE). Yogurt, banana & strawberries. Cup of tea (HE milk)
L - Ham salad (lettuce, tomatoes, sweetcorn, grated carrot, red onion, pickles, SW mini quiche, slice of ham
D - Salmon, broccoli & spinach stir fry with beansprouts and egg noodles.

Wednesday
B - Yogurt & Fruit salad. Cup of Tea (HE Milk)
L - Tatie Hash (potatoes, onions, carrot, turnip, lean bacon) slice of Bread (HE)
D - SW Spag bol & spaghetti. Fruit salad

Thursday
B - 2 boiled eggs on 2 400g wholemeal toast (HE) Cup of Tea (HE Milk)
L - Tatie Hash
D - Mixed Grill ( Lean steak, bacon rasher, Lamb chop, mushrooms, tomatoes, fried egg & Beans)

Friday (at work)
B - Rasher of bacon & beans on toast (HE). Yogurt, banana & strawberries. Cup of tea (HE milk)
L - Open ham salad sandwich
D - SW Big Mac in a bowl, SW chips (really looking forward to this!)

Saturday
B - Boiled Egg, Fruit salad & jelly. Cup of tea x 2
L - Smoked salmon and salad
D - Tatie Hash 2 400g bread (HE)

Sunday (at work)
B - Rasher of bacon & beans on toast (HE). Cup of tea (HE milk)
L - Soup
D - Chicken stir fry

Please add any thoughts or ideas for a better plan if you like, would love the feedback

First day and going great, haven't had much of an appetite so that has been a blessing!

Today's food as follows;
B - 2 soft boiled eggs on 2 slices of 400g wholemeal toast (HE), fruit salad & 2 cups of tea (HE)
D - SW Chicken Tikka Masala with rice and fruit salad.

Didn't eat any lunch as i woke late, my body clock is all over the place after the Christmas holidays, back to work tomorrow :cry:
No syns either, i know i haven't ate enough today.

**UPDATED**
2 SW mini quiches (made in a muffin tray), i will definitely be making these again only got 2 out of the 8 i made as my OH ate the rest

Didn't stick to my original plan today as i forgot to take my lunch, luckily (or unluckily) i work in a hotel so food is always available

Today's food as follows;

B- Bacon medallion & beans on Wholemeal toast (HE), Banana & 2 Cups of tea (HE)
L - One slice of wholemeal bread (4 syns) Ham salad sandwich & homemade veg soup. Banana
D - Salmon & Broccoli Stir fry with Egg noodle, beansprouts and Spinach

Still not using enough syns but i know from previous times i never did in the beginning. Might have some quavers and a SW mini quiche later, but I'm stuffed at the min so we will see?

Decided to have the SW mini quiche & Quavers do another 5 syns

Had another 100% day again, i know its only day 3 but Wednesday is normally the day i give up!

So today's food as follows;


Wednesday
B - Yogurt & Fruit salad. Cup of Tea (HE Milk)
L -2 boiled eggs & 2 400g wholemeal toast (HE), banana
D - SW Spag bol & spaghetti. Fruit salad

Still had no syns!!! Im going food shopping tomorrow so i will pick up some sweet syns.

Just weighed myself as i need new scales because i never got it done on Monday, i have really been kidding myself since i last weighed myself 6 months ago, i have gained a stone and a half!!! Wouldn't mind if this spurred me on more but all its done is make me think my weight loss is going to be even harder, but no more excuses! gonna do it this time!

Good Luck Kelly. You have a fab reason to diet so I'm sure you will keep motivated.
I've just started again after not dieting for about 4 years.
I'm loving your food diary. You are so organised planning your meals for the week. I can only normally think about a day ahead.

If i didn't i would always make excuses to eat junk. I am a list maker in general so always writing something down x
 
This isn't going too bad! :) Been food shopping today so got next weeks meals planned too, i think this going to be my strength, PLANNING!

Today's food;

Thursday
B - 1 boiled egg on 1 800g wholemeal toast (HE) Cup of Tea (HE Milk)
L - Fruit Salad, Aldi crispy fries crisps (3.5 syns), Special K bar (4 syns)
D - Mixed Grill ( Lean steak, Gammon, Lamb chop, 6 Large mushrooms, 2 tomatoes, fried egg & Beans)

Absolutely stuffed after dinner tonight!, and i didn't finish! My OH was also over the moon with the Mixed grill, can see it becoming a favorite in this house.

Was out all day so never got my lunch until 5.00pm, quite pleased i resisted caving in for a sandwich and crisps, well looking forward to Big mac in bowl tomorrow night now :D

Feeling really positive today, Day 5 and i haven't cheated! Felt my belly rumble for the first time in 12 month or more, i'd just had my breakfast knew i wasn't hungry, just my stomach playing tricks on me!

Today's food as follows;

Friday (at work)
B - Fruit salad & banana, 2 Cup of tea (HE milk)
L - 1 slice 800g bread (HE) ham salad sandwich, homemade med veg soup.
D - SW Big Mac in a bowl (5 syns)

snacks 2 SW mini quiche, 1 apple

I was a bit skeptical about the Big mac in a bowl when i was cooking it, but boy did i enjoy it, felt like i wasn't on a diet at all! Only problem is i used regular thousand island dressing so that pushed my syns up, was well worth it though. I'm even re-thinking next weeks menu so i can have it sooner than planned!

Decided to fast today as i am working a late shift, so i worked my meal plan out on MFP, i wont be having any syns today so here goes;

Saturday (496 cals)
B - Fruit salad & sugar free jelly, Cup of tea
L - Apple
D - Gregg's Tuna layer salad, lettuce & 3 baby plum tomatoes. Quavers

I hope this isn't detrimental to the rest of the week? looking at my menu it still fits in with slimming world rules so i think it should be fine.

Well another 100% day, cant believe I've stuck to this for a week!

B - Beans, bacon & sausage (4 syns) on toast (HE), banana. Cup of tea (HE)
L - Carrot & Coriander soup, Apple.
D - Chicken stir fry, with added beansprouts

Aldi crispy fries (3.5 syns)
Special K bar (4 Syns)

Total syns 11.5!
 
Week 2 Meal Plan, week commencing 13th January 2014

Monday
B - Boiled egg and 1 slice toast (HE), Fruit salad & jelly. Cup of Tea (HE milk)
L - Smoked salmon & salad, 1 slice bread (HE). Thousand island dressing (3 syns)
D - Chicken, new pots and ratatouille

Tuesday
B - Boiled egg & 1 toast (HE) Banana. Cup of tea (HE milk)
L -
Smoked salmon & salad, 1 slice bread (HE). Thousand island dressing (3 syns)
D - Chicken Tikka masala & Rice (4 syns Sauce)

Wednesday (Work)
B - Bacon& beans on Toast (HE). Cup of Tea (HE Milk)
L - Tatie Hash, Banana
D - Pork steak, spaghetti & ratatouille

Thursday
B - boiled egg on 400g wholemeal toast (HE) Cup of Tea (HE Milk)
L - Tatie Hash
D - Mixed Grill ( Lean steak, bacon rasher, Lamb chop, mushrooms, tomatoes, fried egg & Beans)

Friday (at work)
B - Rasher of bacon & beans on toast (HE). Banana. Cup of tea (HE milk)
L - Soup & fruit salad
D - SW Cannelloni

Saturday (FAST DAY)
B - Fruit salad & jelly. Cup of tea x 2
L - WW chicken noodle soup, Apple
D - Tatie Hash. Quavers

Sunday (at work)
B - Rasher of bacon & beans on toast (HE). Cup of tea (HE milk)
L - Soup
D - Spag Bol

I'm starting to feel like this eating healthy is just normal now, no struggle at all, i feel really positive :D Although i did sleep late and miss breakfast!

Today's food as follows;

Monday
L - Smoked salmon, 3 seafood sticks & salad, 1 slice bread (HE). Thousand island dressing (3 syns)
D - Chicken, new pots and ratatouille (4 syns)

i will more than likely have a special K bar later but will update if i do x

Total syns = 14
