IF AT FIRST YOU DON'T SUCCEED, try try try again and again (and again...)

Im with you there Jo ...my full button does not compute !!! ..... sadly my craving button does

yeah and the trouble with my "full button" not working, and my being encouraged by this diet not to even bother thinking about it, is that when off the diet I operate in much the same way! Ah well! First things first...

An incredible 5.7K lost in four days... ok it's water I know I know, but boy do I yoyo!

Feeling 100% better in myself though, and I'm daring to return to restaurant eating at lunchtime (in full knowledge of exactly what I'll have!!).

Bon weekend all dukaners
:)

Fab loss jo, have an amazing weekend xx

Agree with Sara that eating alot on Dukan doesn't feel like over eating and I try not to think about it too much..... But also agree that it means your ability to eat or binge off the diet is epic!!! WELL DONE on the weight loss - wish mine was a bit of water weight - looks like its the proper flab the way it's sticking to me like glue!! LOL! x

Morning all... (anyone old enough to remember Dixon of Dock Green?!)

My weekend's food was great. I had no cravings, and had no problems (not even when returning a bag of Celebrations I'd been nibbling in the car last weekend to its rightful place, ie the "don't open until you're slim again cupboard!"). However, I had an unexpected hiccup on the alcohol front; I rarely drink so in my head hardly consider this is blip (but of course it is and it probably brought me out of ketosis although I didn't get cravings). I had a glass of cremant (the Burgundy champagne). There was really no getting out of it - people turned up unexpectedly with a bottle to wish us a Happy New Year, and had neither of us had any, it would have been really rude, and for me not to leaving my husband to come out of ketosis on his own, well that wouldn't have been kind of me. I was however a poor hostess and didn't get out any aperitive biscuits cos they would have been a step too far for me!

Yesterday, at a neighbour's, I turned down port and chocolate cake (and I wish she'd then put the cake away instead of leaving it in front of me, but there you go...). She was surprised when I requested a black coffee, half an hour before lunch!

I did manage 1/2 hour's walk each day despite the temperatures so am pleased with my first weekend on Dukan. Ate loads of course but all Dukan OK stuff!

Onward and offward... :)

Well done jo, I'm sure that one glass won't have been too bad on the ketosis front xx I can imagine the cake staring at you however would have been torture lol

Great weekend food wise and Yes I remember Dixon if dock green lol, Me and hubby walked around a country park on saturday and yesterday we were at the beach butas long as we are wrapped up Maintainer a bit of cold weather wont hurt us xxx

One thing I've really noticed again since restarting Dukan - I'm permanently FREEZING! When others say it's nice and warm indoors, I'm still cold! Anyone else noticed this? I was fine when "EATING" (intentional caps!)...
I'm glad that the glass of booze doesn't seem to have caused either myself or my other half any issues on the weight front. He's been picky and fanciful though (but I'm sure the sneaky porridge he snuck in on Friday - he confessed - caused that rather! oh yes he's still lost weight too - MEN!).

I'm planning to walk to work as usual (albeit dressed as a yeti!), but if I slip and slide, I'll be straight to the bus stop!

know the feeling about " MEN " mine drank 6 "no carb beers " last night and lost weight !!!!!

crikey!! At least you're not cold at the moment... tell us about your weather and temperatures... warm us up a bit would you?!

I hadn't really thought about feeling extra cold.. Just realised colleagues mentioned how cold I looked when they weren't feeling so bad - I had goosebumps on my goosebumps today!!! I'd have thought I had plenty of padding to be honest!! ;)

How are you getting on Jo?

My hands are lily white and freezing...................

the temperature is currently 34 degrees and humid as anything kids were in the pool and we had a ten minute tropical rainstorm but back to blue skies now supposed to have rain the rest of the week but temps will remain in the 30s it is the wet season but rain is rare at the moment

awhhh - Scrumps, we'll just pretend that you're talking in Fahrenheit and not Centigrade :D It must be nice to be feeling the sun at the moment...
I guess feeling cold, even when others aren't, is something we have to put up with on Dukan. I'm surprised it came on so quickly as I'd always presumed it was because I'd lost lots of weight than my internal central heating was somewhat awry, but I soon became a hot person once "EATING" (deliberate caps!).

Couteaux - I'm good thanks. This really is such an easy diet to do for busy people like me who love protein and don't really care if they eat the same thing week in week out. Having no cravings, no real hunger (except just before meals) makes it all so easy peasy that it gives one an unrealistic feeling of invincibility (that those of us who have passed onto phase 3 soon realise is really just the ketosis!).

My size 16 trousers are now comfortable, and I'm wearing 14s today (but with a long top as my rear end looks humungous!).

Today is my favourite tea (smoked salmon and eggs). Note to self: stay well away from scales tomorrow morning. I have been known to gain a kilo the morning after smoked salmon!

at least your are dropping sizes............ hope the salmon goes down well yummy
