You missus are a true inspiration, do you know that? You pop onto everyones diaries with words of support and encouragement. You never have a bad word to say about anything and your so motivated and committed.

And you wonder why peopke say nice things? You are truely one of the micest peoe I've never met! Accept our lovely comments because you deserve them.

This is so true, there's always a comment from you in my diary, and everyone else's I check, spurring us on & talking some McMadness but mostly sense!!
 
I class them as 5pp.

But then I cheat on double ups anyway.

I have 2 alpen bars 2pp each, 2 for 3pp (even though if you have 2 different ones they track as 2pp each for 2 for 4pp), but my yoghurts I count as 1pp each, 2pp for 2 even though they're 2 for 3pp (but I say different types class as 1 each).
Double standards.
But yeah... I'd said 5pp.

Like if I was to have 2 slices of bread for a sandwich at lunch for 5pp.
But then I had another slice of bread later with my dinner, I'd count it as 2pp again - so total bread is 7pp.

I do that as well!!!
 
How do u lose every week on ww pro points. I tried doing the pro points twiçe and both times I couldn't lose the weight. I lost in my first week but from week 2 onwards I always sts or even gained. My leader used to check my food diary (which was always honest down to the last crumb) and she couldn't understand it either. She even was going to send it to head office but I just stopped going to class cos I got fed up paying each week. I varied my weeklies, i.e. used them all, used half, used none...it never made a diff plus I was going to the gym 4 times a week. I love ww wish it worked for me! You have such freedom.

I don't think every plan is for everyone, some people swear by slimming world but it's just not for me. I've tried, rosemary Connelly, calorie counting, slimming world, slim fast, GI & WW (plus several other dodgy unhealthy ones!!) - the only one that works for me is WW, or probably more likely the only one I stick to. Have you tried any other diet plans??
 
one of the girls on here 'atomicpink' was sticking to points and very healthy and did a lot of excercise and didnt lose anything for about a yr after inially losing, i cant remember if she coincidently started excercising around that time too(, but now she has increased her calories by about a 1000 to make up for all the excercise she does, shes experimenting at the mo and is giving herself a few weeks for her body to adjust but the scales have hardly moved up at all and once she stabilises she will reduce calories to lose weight, she has a diary on here with name i gave above i think it's in the simply filling section or pp either way its quite active so should be near top of either list, were you using up all ur activity points aswell as ur weeklies as you like atomic probably needed them, otherwise ur body just holds onto any food it gets x

Hey brien77, I don't really know what the answer with regards to WW is?!? I had my Smallest Losses when I didn't use my Weeklies, it seems More is More for me but that again isn't the same for everyone! Maybe it's the McMadness of this Thread which makes the pounds vanish ;-) x
 
Good Afternoon McSweeties,

The Good News is I'm home!

It took 7 Hours but that included 1 1Hour Stop and 1 15min Stop :) I have to say, it's good to be home! The first load of washing is in (and yes that included the naked kitchen run Trina!) and din dins is in the oven!

Today is Day 1 back on track and counting but that also means a new set of Weeklies, Whoop Whoop! Although its probably fair to say that after a week of indulgence there's nothing I really fancy lol.

Glad you are you home safe. Sounds like you have had a fantastic holiday and you really have got a great attitude about the foods you have eaten while away and the temporary effect they may have on weigh in :) A real case of making a diet fit your life rather than trying to fit your life around a diet. Definitely the way to do it.

Life in Serena World is never normal...so I got home put the washing on, cooked the dinner, ate the dinner etc etc, was just going to wash up when Poppy projectile vomited EVERYWHERE! I've never seen so much sick in my life :-( So I've got her in the bath and washed her hair and now I'm left clearing up the piles of sick everywhere! Looks like the Suitcases might be waiting till tomorrow lol. X

I thought my ears were burning ;) Sammi is right i've had an awful time trying to lose weight for the last 18 months - 2 years. I yoyo around the same 2-3lb the whole time and never make any real progress. I've been trying to lose weight for the last 5 years, lost about 3 stone in the first 3 years but things slowed and then pretty much stopped. So I tried the usual things of increasing exercise, restricting food more but that didn't work either. And I did stick to plans, it wasn't that I was cheating all the time and kidding myself. As Sammi said after doing alot of reading I ended up deciding to do a "metabolism reset" as I think I probably seriously mucked up my metabolism by regularly eating way below my BMR (the amount of calories your body needs to survive if you did absolutely nothing - i.e. you were in a coma!). I've gained a few lbs but it hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. Once things have stabilised i will look to cut from maintenance calories but far less aggressively than I was before.
