Also a photo of what I have noticed, my resting heart rate is now 53. Has dropped since starting Atkins, back to where it was when I was a healthy weight.

Yoga
I've always discounted yoga as to me exercise means sweat but recently I've been doing a class each week. Mainly to get out, socialise and relax. However twice this week I've done a 20 min yoga video off YouTube for stress. It isn't a workout, just stress releasing stretches. Both times I've done it, midway through I've felt some emotions but by the end I feel great and so relaxed. I almost feel myself again. So I'm going to do this 3 times a week while my daughter naps. You could sleep by the end of it if your not careful.
 
Lunch
Another salad. I'm not usually a huge salad eater but since the dressings are so yummy and almost carb free it does make a salad a yummy meal. I'm tracking everything on myfitnesspal and it feels like it would be loads of calories but actually comes just under 400. Today spinach, mayo, brie, avocado, rocket, tuna and an egg.
 
Day 6 - Still on plan
Breakfast

Salmon, avocado, spinach and 2 eggs
The flying Scotsman passes through my villiage this morning. Very impressive. I saw it at York last year but it was still, good to see it on the move.

Atkins
I must admit I am getting bored. Perhaps because I am following it by the book. I'm not hungry and feel fine. My ibs symptoms have disappeard completely. I just need to remember that soon I can have nuts, then berries, then fruits etc. Right now tracking everything I eat is really just annoying. I know you do this on any diet, if just seems harder. Trying to get my carbs close to 20g while still getting healthy fats and not too much protein. I'm sticking to it none the less. It almost has to be something strict otherwise I fail. The VLCD are not for me, I struggle to get through the day on 600 calories a day.
 
Dinner
Cauliflour and Broccoli mash with fish. The mash had some cream cheese in. This is the mash before I put fish on. I've never added broccoli in cauliflour mash before. It came out nice. The photo before the fish.

Achievement
We went for a walk on beach. The husband and daughter got an IceCream. I didn't. Then we was late home so decided to get her some chips. I had them on my lap the 2min ride home so they could cool down. I didn't steal any.
 
Day 7
Almost a week. I weighed myself this morning and got the motivation I needed. 6lbs down in 6 full days. I need to buy some flaxseed today though as suggested by the book, as I haven't been in 3 days yikes!!

Breakfast
Bacon, egg, mushroom and avocado.

First time I've had bacon in ages, not my favourite but a nice change.
 
Lunch
Was a fail. We went to morrisons and they do a build your own breakfast. So I was gonna get eggs, bacon and mushroom. Then the husband wanted a sandwich and daughter a kids meal. So it was busy and I thought I'm not order if if I'm the only one. So I had the baby bell from my daughters meal. Then my husband ordered me a while coffee grrrr. I just drank a bit. But wouldn't have been too many carbs. I guessed 5.

To be honest Sarah it does not look too bad now.
I only got the dress because it was in the sale in new look plus size for £5. I don't think is supposed to stretch across the stomach, I think it's supposed to be loose fit. I'll get there!!! Keep plodding on. All my nice size 12/14 clothes are waiting for me when I shrink.

Its strange because when I go out I see people of all shapes and sizes and have no problem with anyone. I don't judge or think anything. But when I go out at a size 16/18 I feel like everyone is looking at me and thinking how fat I am. It's just in my head I think but I'm excited to shrink to just a 16 and lose some back fat. I have like 10 beautiful bras in my drawer, only 2 in my size that I switch over because I refuse to spend money while I'm this size. I'm overdue some serious shopping.
 
Day 9
I didn't log in my meals yesterday but they all mainly seem to be the tastiest salad ever or meat and veg. However yesterday I made pulled pork. It was a big piece, I thought there would be loads left for lunches. My 21 month old are loads, then my husband had a 2nd helping and some for work today. So it's almost all gone lol

Day 10
I shouldn't weigh myself each morning but I do. I'm not at 7.5lba down :) So I've been eating 3 meals without snacks. I'm not even hungry anymore. I still enjoy eating so I look forward to meals and never miss one, but I could probably skip a meal and still not be hungry. I guess that's ketosis.
Last night I have courgette spaghetti while my husband had pasta. Would creamy tomato sauce with chicken. Days calories 1230, carbs 16g

I'm need this diet right now because before I did it I was binging on food every day but I am begining to think about how long term it is. I have a weekend away in 3 weeks time, a few other little trips booked. Hopefully by then my carb allowance will be higher and I can still make good choices
