Ireland- bia- a bit of craic!

Morning everyone.

So cold here today, and my little gas heater has run out. Extra socks needed!

I'm feeling a bit thinner the last couple of days, my jeans are way too big, but not sure I'd get into next size down yet, so making do with a very attractive tightly pulled belt. So the jeans are all ruched up around my bum. Does anyone else get a bit scared to try on smaller stuff? I have a dress here, that just about closed on me over the summer, so logically you'd imagine it would now fit me... but scared to try it in case it doesn't and I'll be upset.

Really trying to get my stone and half award tomorrow, and then another few pounds for Christmas.

Afraid I have had it for the last week orla and no sign of it shifting. Hope you get your reward :)

Excellent Redsters Baby, lets hope that reflects on the scales on Thursday, according to my scales I could be down 4.5Ibs and that would be enough for my next reward but I wont hold me breath, today is weigh in

By the way, I have that cold and it is not pleasant, lets hope you avoid that one and remember to take the Vitamin C as a preventative rather than a cure

Good luck in weigh in Orla! Haven't been on in a while! I maintained last week after reaching my target so was delighted but I'm finding it hard to get the right balance between bit gaining but not losing either! I'm terrified of getting into bad habits again!

Coughdrops, you need to try on that dress, during the summer I was really looking forward to fitting into a gorgeous bright pink floral dress and like that I was scared of trying it on, well I suppose in a good way I left it too late as it was too big for me when I finally got the courage to fit it on

I was the same coughdrops! I put all my clothes in another room with every stone threatened to try them on but was scared that if they didn't fit it would send me into a depression! So I waited till I reached target and now their all too big! It was an amazing feeling but then I tried on black pants that I wore to my uncles funeral last year and I was able to put my two legs into one! When I did it I bust into tears thinking I could have been that size! My boyfriend couldn't understand why I was so upset as I wasn't that size anymore but that was my reaction and I still couldn't change it! Just shows you can fool yourself with angles in photos and mirrors but clothes don't lie so don't think it's not normal to be scared to try things on!

Thanks KinaKK for that, I dont want to jinx things by saying yes hopefully today will be good so I wont say anything at all and hope that the scales are kind to me.

They say it is easier to lose weight than to keep it off so Im sure your consultant will be able to help you with how to maintain.

I tried it on! Still doesn't fit right, but not as tight as it was. It might just be the cut of the dress. BUT I also tried on a dress that I was totally squished into during the summer and couldn't wear, and it's actually roomy! Last time I wore it out was over 2 years ago, so it's great to get back into it. And tried on my smaller jeans, which now close, but are still far too tight to sit down in. Last time I tried those, though, the button wouldn't go anywhere near shutting.

So, hopefully another 10lbs / stone will have them all hanging off me.

Kinakk- Trying on the old trousers must have been a happy yet a-little-bit-sad moment, I'd be snotting all over the place.

KinaKK, I had an idea I was going to be a good loss but I just didn't want to say that online as that tends to put a jinx on me and it worked, I went to class yesterday evening and got up on the scales and lost 5.5Ibs :D OMG I'm still stunned, not only did I get my 4.5st reward I also got SOTW as well

I have 4Ibs to go to my 5st reward and also 4.5Ibs would see me going into a new stone bracket (14st) yayyyyyy

It feels great, thanks a million

Well done Orla, that is brilliant. Did you do a lot different this week?

Izzy are you around? Haven't see anything from you in a while.

Has everyone decided on what they are wearing for Christmas day. In one way I want to have a fantastic dress to show off weight loss so far and the other side of me is thinking comfort on a long day. What about everyone else?

Hoping to get a new outfit for my work party that will double up for Christmas day. I like comfy dresses, like a jersey wrap around, which on Christmas day I might team with leggings and uggs!

I'm missing my Christmas Party so not as much pressure to look great  I have two dresses I have yet to wear but I bought a gorgeous skirt in size 14 ages ago and it finally fits but finding it hard to match a top with it. I thought a white blouse might have worked but it doesn't. I might post a pic and see what you all think

I got 3 of these type dresses from Littlewoods Coughdrops, have a look in the sale section & google for discount code,I got 10% off.Three dresses cost around 50yoyos & delivered with 3days.Was sooo impressed I went back on & bought another two as prezzies.

Thanks a million lads, I really appreciate it. Redsters, I did what the consultant talked about the week before Pages 10-12 and superfree but I went one step further and I checked what superfree foods are S or SS foods. What surprised me was the fact that no vegetables were both superfree and SS but were S and that a lot of fruit were both superfree and SS so you can imagine which superfree foods I'm eating at the moment.

I will go on this site on my app and post the list I gave to our closed SW facebook page for Athlone and I can see there is going to be a lot of losses next week

Issy, so happy your back on track, I think anyone who aims for a sts from now until January is very wise, I have something on each week from now until Christmas so I really want to save my syns and hope I don't go mad when Im out.

In terms of Christmas and what to wear on Christmas Day, I have got a dress that both shows off the weight I have lost and also is a very comfortable fit, I have a picture of this on my phone so I will post it when I go on the app in a few minutes.

Now only 4Ibs to go to get my 5st reward I really wanted for Christmas
