Is anyone starting Cambridge January 2014? Lets support each other!

So today's my birthday and I've just realised this is the slimmest I've been on my birthday in 7 years!!! Crazy. Would get to around 13.4 on diets before and be a size 14 and be satisfied. It's made me realise how much my life and mindset has changed since losing weight. To all those just starting or going through the cambridge journey I'd say good luck and you'll feel fab once you've lost the weight. Have a good day everyone. X

Morning all! I'm sitting here in a size 8 m&s wrap dress. I'd have bought a 10 if they had one (it was 70% off on a clearance rack) and I know m&s do flattery sizes but still I gave away my size 16 m&s work dresses recently. I'm finding it quite motivating to stay away from the cadbury purple snack and coffee 11's thats been creeping back into my day.

Anyway how's all today? I was 145.5 this morning so I've gotten rid of half of the lb I put on after my little breakout post hitting goal. A lb wouldn't have bothered me months ago but it's like the end of the world now.

Aww congrats! You must feel amazing :)

I read that 'maintenance' is fluctuating 3% of your total weight so in your case 4lbs either way! So just keep an eye on that and don't worry about the odd half lb cause that could be anything, and if you know you've generally been good, its probably water retention.

It's a good mindset to be in though, to not just dismiss a gain (I would normally ignore even a 10lb gain as water off plan!!) as you know you won't gain again.
 
Morning all! Just checking in to see how we are all doing? Im currently 10 stone 6. Had my nephews communion at the weekend and had two days of family eating so 2 lbs up. Currently trying to lose those as I've my SILs long awaited hen this weekend and its going to be carnage!

Hey hun I'm still here and doing good! Wedding on Sunday so I'm looking Forward to that (diet? What diet) lol. I'm still 100% and very contented :)

Ha are you having a day off? If so, I'm jealous! Pleased for you, 100% is such a good feeling.

Still 100% myself too, weigh in Monday. Not all that hopeful as I've just been gifted with an extra period this week (grrr) and am quite bloated, but ultimately, know that if I stay 100% ill lose once the bloat has gone.

Any weigh ins for you?

I am, and I don't even care! It's planned, I'm going to do what anyone else would do at a wedding...and eat! lol I'll be back on it on Monday and accept the gain on Tuesday evening!

I ended up texting my CDC asking if farts weighed heavy as I was so bloated lol they don't apparently lol

Good for you!! Planned breaks can defo have a place on the plan.

I've got a work exam on Tuesday so just revising for that really.

I've pretty much managed to totally avoid anything social while on plan ha! My plan is to move up to step 2 from 2 June for a week then do 2 weeks on each of the other steps, but I think I'm going to still have to be strict in my head about what social eating is acceptable!

I'm really hoping I continue to lose at least a lb each week on the steps as I don't really want to finish at higher than 11 st 8 which is a 23 BMI for me. Searched around a bit for what people say about that but noticed that once people are on the steps, posts pretty much stop :(

How much more do you want to lose?

What's the exam on?

I socialise really well on SS, I'm designated driver and still wild lol I think having a plan is really sensible and a good way to approach things.

Have a look in the maintenance area and read the KD posts. She's superb and she really gives amazing advice about maintenance.

I'm not sure. Probably another 2 stone ish. I have a wedding tomorrow so I've broken the diet tonight (fajitas but with no wrap) and I'll be off plan tomorrow and back on it on Monday. I'm not fearful of the gain Tuesday evening, it will be worth it. Then I'm 100% until end of July and still doing my 30 min Pilates a day too :) happy camper there

I work for an accountancy firm, its a professional exam for that.
