Is anyone starting Cambridge January 2014? Lets support each other!

No probs Susie. No one can do this alone :) yea half packs, bars, etc sometimes I even mix and match. Just depends what you fancy. Also some people have said you can have the shakes hot too. I haven't tried this yet but might do a hot choc tonight and see how it goes. I have to plan because last night I was craving dominos... Well everything really so decided to look at the menu of where were going thurs. The closer I get to Thursday the more I find myself dreaming about food. I think having planned things to look forward to helps so might make it a once a month thing. Will see how much I gorge on Thursday. I'll tell them to forget plates and knives and forks. Just give me a trough lol x

Thank you Liz :) I need to lose another 6 stone 3 lbs to get to 9.7 stone which is my target but will see how I look and feel nearer the time. Would love to lose another stone in two weeks but doubt that will happen! How much are you aiming to lose?

Cool. Don't be disheartened if you don't get the next stone in 2 weeks, they say after the first few weeks its a stone a month. I'd like to lose 3&a half to 4 stone in total so about half way there. Did you get some bars? X

Well I'm a restarter so I got bars in my first week. Obviously doesn't make a difference to weight loss. Love the lemon ones. Peanut ones are okay. The rest I think are vile but personal tastes I guess. Oh so not long left to go for you.... When you hoping to finish losing the weight?

Not to sure on time frame but by mid April I hope. I'm planning on doing 8 weeks ss, then 2 weeks ss+ then move up the steps.
Do you have coke zero? They differs between consultants too. I do but some don't. Although only 1 can a day. X

Yea I have coke zero occasionally. But not everyday. Probs about 5 cans in two weeks. Also have tea with dash of skimmed milk occasionally. Again not everyday but occasionally. If I feel like I need to eat. I don't think they make a difference really. It's still low calorie and you'll still be in ketosis.

Thanks, that's interesting re milk. I was thinking the other day it will be nice to have a tea again as cant stand it without milk. Works boring today which is crap :-(

Yea I think it's fine. Don't think it makes any difference to weight loss and even if it does it's minimal. I'd rather have a cup of tea than eat something I shouldn't.

OMG I proper feel like I'm missing out now lol.
I quite like the mint bar. Just nice to eat something. I thought it was too minty though if that makes sense!!!

Oh god mint crunch. Hated it. They all have this really weird samey taste. The lemon ones are grievous I just order 7 of those per week.

Hi there,

Approaching my 2 week milestone (on Wednesday) - but not having my weigh in until Saturday - that means I can start the bars - not sure which to go for Peanut and Lemon???? My consltant has said no to Coke 0 until I am on the 2nd stage.

Going to start 'vibration plates' at the ens of the week to help tone all my wobbly bits - and there are LOTS of those!!!!!!!!!!!! Done them once before and they are really really great at toning.

Trying my hardest to keep telling myself I CAN DO THIS - feeling the benefits already as my tight clothes are no so tight anymore xxx
 
I'd go for lemon bars personally but it is down to individual tastes although I am yet to find someone who doesn't love them. Good luck with the vibration plates. Are they at your local gym?

There's a training table thing at the beautician place near me how regular do you need to do it though ?

Hi - yes it's pretty local - will be checking it out hopefully on Friday and will report back. I did it a while ago - once a week with a personal trainer and it was amazing how quick it worked but it is hard.
