The low cal food and f&b is pretty decent don't worry. 2000 in one meal or all day? If one meal omg I couldn't stomach that much.

I don't mind blue cheese but that's all but I have no control with it so I keep it out of the house. Maybe at the deli counter they will cut me off just a serving size lol. I've never been a cheddar fan, but I have ricotta in the fridge. I may make some veggie lasagna for me and normal pasta for the boys. It's pretty odd I am just scared of fat content. For the last year or more I have not eaten any food with a fat content of 5g per 100g I've gotten so used to it that even with my shopping I just naturally buy everything low or non fat. I need to check this I may not even be getting enough fat.

I think you've raised a valid point.....STRESS! Stress ..... with eating more as eating less is certainly not doing it!

Yeah I don't work just am a carer for my husband (he can't walk or do any type of house work other then picking up) and a 2.5 year old boy who is a little nut case (he gets it from his dad I swear! Lol).

My life isn't stressful considering what it could be, but I make stress for my self over food and time. I make mountains out of mole hills. Im trying to plan my life out week by week. So I know where to go and do so I just don't sit on my butt and not do anything. I needs to make lists! Ahhhhh lol

Yup. Although yesterday was my birthday so it was more like 3500! In all seriousness, I was dieting for a week, then going on a major binge. Repeatedly. So I figured I'd be better off eating more in order to stop bingeing. Basically I used to blame myself for bingeing, but now I know it's my body responding to what I'm doing, either eating too little or the wrong things. And then my all or nothing attitude made it worse.

So I started reading around the subject and a lot of writers on this topic reckon you can avoid calorie counting altogether if you eat clean. I'm not happy with that yet - I tried it and quickly fell into my undereat-binge cycle - but I started eating more of a paleo / ancestral health diet (it makes sense - we're the only animals to not eat what we evolved to eat). I don't call myself paleo because I eat dairy and have protein shakes and such, but I follow that template most of the time. I truly believe that if we eat right, our body will sort out the calories in / calories out issue, like it does with all sorts of other stuff.

I follow a lot of the calorie coach advice (google calorie coach) I tend to eat 30g protein with every meal, only eat starchy carbs after I've exercised (oats and banana if I exercise in the morning, sweet potato if in the eve) and try to eat around 2000 cals. My weakness tends to be milky coffees and the occasional dark chocolate. Oh and I can't control myself with nuts either, I can eat hundreds of calories of nuts in one go! But I love this way of life - skin on my roast chicken, yes please! Full fat Greek yoghurt, yum! Tuna in olive oil instead of spring water, mmmm! Veggies with butter on, salad with dressing, etc etc, happy days after years of low fat.

I also have loads of energy for exercise and reckon I could eat still more and still lose weight given I exercise for 45-60 mins a day,

This way of life isn't for everyone, but I'm happy on it and probably have a big ole cheat meal / day once every couple of weeks. whatever plan you end up on though, I do think clean eating is vital.

Sorry for the long post - obviously something I feel passionate about!

You do look slimmer in the second photo, and more tanned, but you look lovely in both

Regarding photos.....I'm the same. I'm on the left in the black. All I see is big round face and chunky shoulders and arms and my humongous bosom which makes me look even bigger. My heart sinks when I look at my photo :-(

And of course......I'm wearing......BLACK!! Lol!

You look good in both. I think in the night out photo you look bigger because of your jacket. It looks like that jean jacket is about 2 sizes to big plus side view photos are not forgiving. In your photo with your daughter your wearing a somewhat fitted shirt and facing straight at the camera. Plus the colour of your shirt really compliments your skin. It also has to do with the flash and all sorts. It's all photography focused. You look fab and have a lovely looking girl there. Toss out that night out photo and forget about it. It's a bad photo not a bad you.

Ok I just took a photo of me in my jammies and have given you a comparing photo.

Ok look how much rounder I look with ill fitted clothing. Not the best but you can see it in my face that grey is not my colour. Plus I've had a big binge :( two seconds before. Oh well

Forget that photo missy!

Yes same weight maybe 2-4lbs higher when my dressed photo was taken right before I had my surgery. Clothing can make such a difference in how one looks. Thus why all famous people have someone who dresses them.
