Fair enough.
I'm not a massive wedding person either.
I also don't think you need a piece of paper - and it's a hell of a lot of hassle if it goes pear shaped.
I also don't believe in valentine's day.
Yeah, it's nice to spend time together on it (and this year's was quite special as it was my first ever catch up), but I don't need flowers and chocolates and dinner and a card.
If you enjoy someone's company and love them (I'm not there yet... but this is people in general), then you should tell them all the time and not just because the world's social calendar says to do so. And I do... I'll write little notes saying I miss him, I often thank him for making me happy, for all the little things he does like making my weetabix in the morning, I tell him how much I appreciate him. I must do it at least once a week, if not more.
Vday is just a marketing scam created by card and chocolate manufacturers to sell more stuff between christmas and easter.
And I've not done any Leslie yet.
Walking is a sore point today -.-
Walked to and from the gym today because it was nice and sunny, then took my mum to a nearby town to do some shopping - and I've somehow squished my pedometer and somehow pressed the button that resets it and lost my 4500 steps or so that I'd done today, plus my 12 activity points earned down the gym this morning.
Also means I have to do a whole bunch more walking before earning - but tough... I'm gonna cheat it.
I've done 2001 steps after it reset, I make that easily ready to earn, so now every 2500 steps I do today, I'm claiming a point.
(I'm not quite as OCD as Serena - I don't know the exact number needed to earn/start earning lol).
I've still got a list of things to do - like washing, birthday cards and that... and my dad's turned up - don't really want to do my walking whilst he's here... he'll think I'm silly, but if I get a chance later, I'll try and do some, even if it's just a 1 mile today and do 2 tomorrow.
