ive just been reading through all my old posts dating way back to the beginning of my lighter life journey, and there you were , we chatted about pregnancy ( well actually i had a ramble about pre eclampsia and the dangers of obese pregnancy)
so strange to see that where we were back then :0) so happy to read now that you have a baby , that is the best !!!!! congratulations , even if its somewhat belated :0)

Oh thanks!!! I thought I recognised your name but hadn't got round to checking back. I actually had a nightmare pregnancy but strangely enough none of it was to do with weight. I had to spend 6 months in bed as the little one started making escape attempts from 13 weeks onwards and I kept bleeding. Hospital were fab and kept admitting me for weeks on end. I'll always be grateful to the obstetrician who supported me all the way through and made every effort to keep baby in for as long as possible. He was eventually delivered by emergency c-section at 35 weeks and is perfectly healthy and gorgeous. I love him to bits. I'm hoping to try for another soon. my lovely obstetrician has advised I have an op before trying again as it should make another pregnancy less dangerous so I'm having the op at the end of April and after that and getting a few stone off, we'll see if we can manage another. Parenthood has been so much more wonderful than I ever imagined.

oh bless you ib , that makes my pregnancy seem a breeze, dont you think though that when youve struggled in whatever way , you appreciate the little devils presence all the more my little one isnt so little any more she will be 4 in april and is now taller (but skinnier) than all her little friends, she gives me more joy (and tears) every day and each year that passes i just feel that she gets more and more amazing , oooooo just wanna squish her good luck with the op and any new additions , we'll have to see where we are in another couple of years !

So true - I'd bonded with him before he was born as I was trying so hard to keep the poor love safely inside. I used to talk to him all the time in the womb telling him how much he was wanted and how all he had to do was stay put and me and the docs would take care of the rest. By the time he was born I felt I already knew him, I never realised you could love anyone this much, it's been a revelation.

isnt it just :0) my oh sais that no one can evoke such strong emotions in him as bella , both good and bad , its amazing isnt it ?
