It's been a month..too late than never!

Evening K - mayo was a rediscovery for me on atkins as hadnt had it for years (due to fat!). Yummy;)

Morning Kensy, bet you're pleased now :)

yes i am, although I will be happier when I've actually tried the mayo :p yeahh..i haven't tried it yet. how many grams carbs should mayo have for induction?

Again had amazing chicken with yum veggies. Mum makes SUCH good chicken with subcontinental spices <3

I'm weighing in on sunday again. i dont think i've lost much this week either..but it's going steady.

I made salad with the mayo as the dressing. It's really good mayo, not too dense but full fat, so perfect.

i had a question: which teas contain stuff you're not supposed to have during induction? i usually like flavored tea like indian spices or turkish apple or cinnamon tea. Are these allowed? As far as I know, they don't contain any sugar or anything similar to it.

Any recommendation of tea types?

^ I hope to still get suggestions regarding above post.

ANYWAY! I've again been innovative tonight; I made salmon fillet marinated with lemon juice, white/black pepper and salt! It was nice and slightly sour which I like.

The salad was the left over from lunch: all sorts of lettuce leaves, bell peppers etc etc with dash of mayo <3

Hello Kensy... Great menus and well done on weight loss ! I'm not sure about the carb content of those teas - have you checked on Google? :)

I think the teas I'm having these days are fine. Smooth Chai is composed of cinnamon, nutmeg, cumin and some more spices which are fine for induction as far as I know.

I made two ugly eggs today..hehe kind of too soft :p

Morning Kensy, I'd say the teas are fine, do they have a carb count on them? and.....

Ugly eggs? LOL

Yeah I'm just keeping up with the tea. I pretty much have a few cups of green tea at night.

and yes ugly eggs...they broke and became unwillingly scrambled and blehh :p

today was too though!

I weighed in myself this morning and YES I have achieved my first goal of 11 pounds! I have lost 11 pounds now. YAAAAAAAAY!

^ Hehe, thanks!

Omg omg I made egg salad today. In Holland it's really popular and you usually have it on a slice of bread or baguette or well anything else. I just love it plain, a small portion:

I used mayo, dijon mustard, cheddar cheese, lemon juice, black pepper, salt, eggs obviously and some cabbage! I love the crunchiness of cabbage so I threw it in. You can also use green onion which is great for egg salads.

I'm not trying to boast, but it was definitely better than super market egg salads + healthier!

I obviously have some visuals as well ;)

Hi Kensy, well done on your loss, that's fantastic:). And lolled at ugly eggs!

Thank you, you lovely people. This thread has really helped me go on with the diet. I feel good, energetic and I'm not starving myself AT ALL. In fact, sometimes I feel too full, so it's quite magical this diet.

QUESTION!

I want to loose another 11 pounds, so for how long should I stay in induction? I read somewhere that one shouldn't do induction for more than 6 months, is that true? Could you guys please share your experiences during induction, how long you guys did it.

I feel I'm losing weight quite steadily and not tooo fast, so induction is actually quite perfect for me, but I'm not too sure whether I'm staying in it for too long. I'm just scared I won't lose any if I add nuts and some fruits.

Thanks so much for the support!

P.S: I'm gonna make special meals tomorrow for valentine's day. Not that I have a valentine, but WHO CARES. Foods has always been my first love.

Btw, I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE baking cakes and I've baked a lot of them. I'll share pictures soon. I'm proud of them, not because I made them but because I haven't tasted any of them..HAHA. People say they're great so yeah <3
