It's Now Or Never

Pinkie,

In my mind, I'm with you right now. Sadly my body is not shifting from here :( !

Glad you decided to get away. Have a great week.

Woke up at 8.45 this morning, just had breakfast, am sitting in the sun drinking tea feeling VERY lazy!

In the end for my breakfast fruit, I just used 4 empty humous pots and put it in there. Just the right size, and it means as I use them, they make more space in the cooler (which froze a salad bag in the night, waste!). Also bought individual yoghurts rather than the big 1kg pot I usually have at home.
It was so cold last night. I woke in the night to go for a wee (cue trek across field in the dark), wanted to check the time, and my phone started forming condensation when I switched it on - not good. Needless to say I left my chunky fleece on when I got back into bed. :)

Hi pinkie! Sorry for not coming on your diary in aaages! How are you getting on? Having fun at camping? Sorry to hear it was cold! I am camping this week in Belgium, I hope it's a tad warmer there! Good idea to bring your fruit.

Glad to hear your food and running is going well too. All ticking over nicely. Hope you have a good week camping and enjoy the sun with Steven xxxx

Thanks Jules. It's beautiful during the day. Just cold at night, having no cloud cover doesn't help I'm sure. Food is fine, not done any running since Sunday though. Might go later, but I feel too self conscious huffing and puffing around the campsite :-(

I have barely seen Steven since we got here. He's been playing with his new friends, so I'm just sitting about reading. So much for his day of cycling. But its good for him (esp as a single child) to play with other boys his own age. You can see why he dropped his old mum really. Def take him out on bike tomorrow x

Aww well I hope you are keeping yourself entertained and enjoying the sunshine. It seems to have disappeared from here so be thankful you aren't up here!!

Snd be glad that Steven isn't the shy kid who never plays with anyone else on holidays - that was me lol, never left my parent's sides!!

Breakfast:
Mixed fruit, canned prunes (2 syns), branflakes (HEb), shape zero yoghurt

Snack:
Apple & 2 clementines

Lunch:
Scrambled egg, sliced hot and spicy chicken (2.5 syns), humous (2.5 syns), cucumber. (It was a use up odd ends sort of a meal). Pint and a half of water.

Another Apple and clementine

Corn on the cob, 2 large homemade burgers, an entire packet of savoury rice, 1 packet of green beans. Proper yummy. 2 satsumas - I def prefer clementines.
Special k choc minibreaks (5 syns)

Total syns - 12

Yeah that was the best thing about camping when you were little- the multitude of friends you made!!! Hope it's nice and relaxing. Enjoy the biking!xxxx

Still no biking, but I have fixed no less than 3 punctures today and have sussed the lie if the land for our biking expedition tomorrow. Load the paniers and off we go (I am bike panier obsessed, I have a thing about two wheels, travelling and paniers. When I have for Steven through his education, I want to do Europe on a motorbike.

Anyhoo, my food.

Breakfast:
Mixed fruit, canned prunes (2 syns), branflakes (HEb), low fat natural yoghurt.

Snack:
Apple, 2 satsumas.

Lunch:
Mixed peppers, mushrooms, onions, sliced quorn sausages, with chilli and paprika stirred into pasta. Made enough for 4 portions, so that is lunch sorted for the week.

Tea throughout day with soya milk (HEa).

Total 7 syns.

Hope you finally managed to get some bike riding in. Are you back home yet ? Hope you've had a fantastic week away and that the weather stayed dry for you.

I have just got back. Went from.camping with bairn, to St Georges drinks and Millwall, straight into camping at Brands. Diet shot for the past few days, but don't care ad I had the best time. I shall have a chicken wrap tonight, but back on it with a vengeance tomorrow. Can't weigh in till Monday now, that will be 3 weeks! Eeek! Hope everyone had fun, I know I did, yay yay yay :D

Right back on it today. On train to work at mo, so thought I'd write my planned food out for the day. Annoyingly though, I have another trip planned for this weekend, and traditionally a different person/couple cooks per night. Spag bol first night. Eek! Was gonna opt out, but I think I just have to go easy with syns rest of the day, then have lots of salad and moderate portions if whatever is on offer. Otherwise I'll end up eating completely separately from others. At least my HEa will be fairly non-existent there, so that might pick up some of the naughtiness at least. No alcofrol for me though, so at least that will help (plus resistance will consequently be higher too). Anyway, that is then, I want three fantastic days between now and then. Can't get out running as working full time at office each of those days.

Planned food for today though-

Breakfast:
Cuppa (milk, 0.5 syns).
Mixed fruit, canned prunes (2 syns), branflakes (HEb), low fat yoghurt.

Lunch:
My old favourite - lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, beetroot, mixed pulses, 3 tbspns humous (7.5 syns!)

Dinner:
Speedy lentil soup reheated with some chopped ham on top topped with low fat cheese (HEa).

Will snack on free fruit (bananas and apples from rooftop cafe probably) and drink lots of liquorice tea.

That would make a reasonable 9.5 syns.

I'm still shattered from the weekend, and need to tidy remnants of the camping trips away. But if I have the energy after that I will have a go at Zumba perhaps.

I will start getting round to catching up on all your diaries, sorry I've been lax, its just been a wee bit manic. :)

Hi lady! Glad you had fun! Good luck good luck for your weigh in! Hope you're ok xxxx

Thanks Jules. I just missed her yesterday coming back from Brands, so will have to wait till next Monday now. Which means it will have been 3 weeks since I last weighed - should be interesting! Hope you're good, how did the festival go?

Your weekend away sounds lovely - having people cooking for you! Hope you enjoy it! I reckon if you keep your syns low you will be fine and avoiding the alcohol will help! I hope your weigh in goes OK! You may have a bumper loss!!! xxxx

Dunno about bumper loss, but whatever it is, it is. I'll deal with it.
Have decided I want to get down to 13st, 13lbs for Brands which is on 31st July. So that will hopefully be just over a stone as of next Monday. Gives me a goal, and I should def get away with poncing about in a bikini top and shorter shorts at that weight. I did before at 14st 10lbs anyhow.

That said, I shall now update on todays food.

The daytime was pretty much as planned. I had 2 apples and 2 low fat yoghurts as snacks. Drank loads of tea without milk.

Tea time though - what a gannet.

A portion of low fat supernoodles. 2 salmon fillets. 2 portions of my vegetable/pulse/lentil soup, with cheese (HEa) on top. Fits in with the diet, but I was a bit like a woman possessed. Was craving carbs, loved the fish do much I did a second fillet and I just defrosted too much of the soup. Just do the one portion tomorrow night then. Off to wash up and prepare our lunches for tomorrow.

I dont think you should feel bad about your dinner Pinkie, as you say you were craving carbs and it was all healthy stuff that Slimming World themselves say you are allowed to eat as much as you like of, I think you did fine. If you were in a munchie mood it's better to eat loads of free food than to start bingeing on other things! My portions are huge anyway!

I like your idea of the bikini challenge- that's really something to work towards! X
