It's now or never

i had three pairs of shoes for my wedding: ivory satin court shoes with raspberry pink glittery heels, then raspberry wedge-heel sandals with crystals on them, for walking on grass, and finally some flat pink birkentock-style sandals, for later in the evening.

You have to use those first shoes it would be a crime not to, then something flat/lower for the rear of the day. I have just settled my shoes craving with these the other week and they are like walking on air from kurt Geiger

Would something like that work for the rest of the day? The second set are lovely BUT I think the personality shown in the first pair doesn't match the second! It's YOUR day and you have time to "window" shop for something that is you. My hubby is 5,9 and I'm 5,7.5 (the .5 is important when it comes to shoes) but after finding something low for our day you have seen what I'm buying now

Hugs x

They are lovely Mama. I have to say these ivory shoes are just shoes, nothing exciting about them. Well - I won't stop looking, but at least I have a pair now in case I don't find the right ones. I think I will wear my fab shoes in the day and swap in the evening.

I love the shoes in the photo they are
Amazing :) I also equally love the sweetie trees for a different reason *dribbles*

Ok focus katie ... Well done on your loss xx

No change today :(

More water required and I think I may have had too large a portion for dinner, even though it was just turkey.

For my wedding I wore plain white flats that I got for under $10. Because of an old bone injury in the ball of my foot, I can no longer wear heels as it focuses weight on the old injury and hurts something terrible. Makes me sad, because I think heels make every woman feel and possibly look more chic.

Argh - I am having a real problem today. I am feeling a bit down, which I am guessing may be TOTM, in fact if I look back through my diary I probably felt the same 4 weeks ago. Anyway, I have fallen down, scoffed a few sweets, about 5 chewits and half a Chocolate orange . . . It doesn't sound a lot but its a bit too high in calories. How depressing. And since I had no loss today, I bet its up again tomorrow. I just cannot pass this point - 10stone 7. I have bumped up against this one about 5 times in the last 2 months and keep bouncing off it like a rubber barrier :(

Ah - forgot to add in my exercise for the day -
Well yesterday we did the dog walk which was a good 50 mins fast walk.

Today the dog walk again but with this older lady so its was a lot slower and not as much exercise :(

But - a walk still counts

Walking burns calories.

And honestly, if it's going to get you down, don't WI tomorrow. Wait a week. I never understand why people weigh in more often than that... sweets or no sweets, your body weight will fluctuate. Even if you're being PERFECT!

Sorry about my last comment, somehow I missed the previous one you had made so I didn't respond at all! Oops...

Keep your head up and do your best. We all have these days and we all have these plateaus. You will find your groove if you dig deep. :hug99:

Gotta agree with Missfortissimo - don't get on your scales tomorrow! Just carry on as if it didn't happen.

One thought - it might not be just TOTM. This is going to sound weird, but sometimes I feel driven to eat chocolate - and only when I've eaten it and find myself heading to the loo do I realise I needed a number 2 (chocolate's a natural laxative). Sorry if that's TMI :D :D

Any chance you're constipated?

Actually it has been a few days since I went to the loo - maybe thats it. . . .

Sorry if I caused confusion - Im not feeling down because of the weight, or lack of loss, Just feeling down for some reason.
I like to weigh every day, it actually motivates me more. And helps me control naughty urges to scoff.

Sorry to hear your feeling down my love. Try your shoes on maybe ;)

Ugh, kids woke me up a few times in the night, feel like the walking dead this am. Behind schedule, will have to rush to get them to school, so of course I am chatting on here. No va va voom yet today.

Weight is the same for 3'days running. That's ok, at least the chocolate didn't stick over night.

well, down very slightly today, a part pound. But - at least it is not going up and that is what i have been worried about, going on to SS+. I am struggling a bit with SS+, as is OH. At least on SS you know its 'nil by mouth' as it were, but once we allow ourselves some little food, its hard to stop ourselves from 'justifying' just one other thing.

I was very naughty yesterday and had a muller corner, which I checked the carb value, and figured as it is very low it should be ok. Still, felt bad. Then OH came home and confessed he had been naughty and . . . had a muller corner. Hmm - maybe I won't buy those again for a bit. I get them for the kids really.

Right - huge list of things to do today - lets see. . .
Take wedding shoes to a cobbler and see if they can reduce the heel at all.
Pay in a cheque
Post back some items to various internet stores.
Work on my course.
Make date for wedding dress fitting
Book afternoon tea for my SILs 40th.
Book in cat for jabs
Job hunt
. . ..

I am sure there was more. Besides the normal house trying lark

Oh - and top of the list is change a certain young mans very smelly bum right now - :)

I do not feel like I have accomplished anything today!

Took shoes to a cobbler, who said that any attempt to shorten the heel would ruin them.
Sent some shoes back in the post. Then discovered a new shoe shop selling my favourite - Irregular choice - and bought a new pair of shoes, which fit like a glove and are so easy to walk in - and are black so no good for the wedding.
Paid in my cheque, and spent the same amount in Boots.

So - no savings anywhere.

SIL failed to give me any dates she could manage for her birthday tea.

But - I did book my dress fitting and I have paid for my honeymoon. And cleaned the kitchen.

So - halfway there I guess.

Just working it out I have bought 10 pairs of shoes in the last 2 months, returned 5, with 1 more to go back. Plus 3 pairs for Oh to try on, and still no shoes for the wedding!
