I'VE PUT AWAY THE SCALES!

With your mind-set, I'm sure you'll power your way through a weekend in London! You've heard that alcohol is really bad for you on this diet Pk? Something to do with your liver being ultra busy with ketones? Can make you very ill very quickly apparently. I must admit I miss alcohol most of all but I'm getting used to going without. Not that I was a heavy drinker before, but Friday and Saturday nights with a bottle of water just ain't the same!
 
And yes, I'd take my packs with me, and a travel mug or sports bottle. I haven't let anyone at work know what diet I'm on so that's how I sneak mine in the building! You could easily take a hand blender and mix them in your room. Good luck :)
 
London was only a small disaster... I managed not to drink but we did go out for dinner and everyone was having steak so I joined in!!! 250g of the most amazing steak bavette but NO chips or anything so I feel fairly triumphant. We also walked the dog for 2 1/2 hours yesterday and today so hoping that will cancel my deviations out!!!! How was everyone's weekend?? X

That certainly is not a disaster, at all! It's absolutely fantastic Pk!! Well done, I am soooo proud of you :) And it seems like you had a great time too. That must be close to a perfect weekend :) My big weekend away is coming up in a few weeks and you've really given me hope :) Yay Pk!!!

It'll be fine!!! I am feeling mega flabby at the moment, doubt I've lost anything! Just saw photos from the weekend and still look like a beached whale... So depressing! Just keep swimming I suppose! I might do morning walks before to see if I can stir my gastrointestinal tract into action.... Been a stalemate for 5 days now am hoping I can relieve that situation and magically lose 5 lbs!!! Have you had a good weekend dieting!? X
 
2.8lbs off this week. Suppose that's good. Why do I feel so crabby then?! Maybe it's just weigh-in day blues?!?! How'd you do Pk?

That was me last week. No reason or rhyme. It sucks doesn't it?! At least we know this diet will work if we keep at it. Try and stay positive (yeah, cos I managed that so well this week! Lol)

I'm wondering if the 3 packs a day contains too high carb levels, all the other ketosis diets have you on 50g max and we are on 60g ish, am thinking of doing two meal replacements and one lower card real meal!? Thoughts!? I am a bit bummed by the staying the same.... I'd love to lose 3 lbs next week like you have! This doesn't help with my obsessive weighing!!!!
 
Well done you guys!!! Losing ANYthing is still a step forward and staying the same just means your body is adapting to your new weight! I'm sure there'll be more off next week. Have you measured yourself cos sometimes you have inch kids that isn't reflected on the scales :)

I'd been doing two sachets and a low carb low fat meal the week I stayed the same. I must admit tho, it was only cos I didn't read the WS info properly. I assumed I stayed the same because I just hadn't eaten enough? Oh it'd be so easy if only I understood what goes on in my own body!!

My fitness pal app says I should be eating 1200 otherwise ill be I'm starvation mode, it's so confusing!! Ill stick with ts for another week and see if anything shifts? How long have you been on it for buttons? I have lost 1 st 3lbs total in 4 weeks so can't really complain, I just don't get how I could lose nothing when I have basically consumed less cals than my body needs!?

Thanks! It's a never ending struggle! I don't own a tape measure... Must invest!! :)
 
Yep, it baffled me too. On WW I never lost if I cut down my points too much either. Talk about stubborn flab! Lol

Today is day one of week six, so I'm not that far ahead of you. So for five weeks my loss is just under 22lbs. Not as fast as some but I've never shifted weight easily! (Def got stubborn flab!!!)
 
And definitely get a tape measure; 2 inches off my waist, and over an inch off all other limb measurements!

Today has been rather fab, stepped on the scales this am after ablutions finally occurred last night and woo hoo have lost 2lbs, also got a rather amazing job offer, dream job, lovely company... Start 5th aug, by which time another stone should be off so I can buy some smart workwear and live happily (carb free) ever after!!!! Seriously motivated!!
