Izzyhew's dizzy start to diet......

she has kind of put herself back into holiday routine today lol by having a late long nap (2.30pm - 5pm) so dinner has now been had and they are playing (with bath toys in the living room!) hubby is in at 7.30 tonight so they will both see him tonight then aiming to bath them around 8pm and have them down before 9 still a lot earlier than hols as they were up till 11pm every night because of the entertainment, but hoping that this might be a good start and see what happens can always make it later tomorrow night and work our way back. Ideally would have them both in bed by 7.30 on a school night so have 5 weeks to work on it lol! xxxx

yeah my 9 month old is in bed by 7 now, and my 8 yr old in bed between 7.30 and 8, although I let her watch a dvd in bed until 8.30 on Fridays and saturdays - I don't change that for the school hols because I think it would be too much of a break from routine to get back.

I think you are doing the right thing, starting between what worked on hols and what you actually want, and take it from there :) hope it works out xx

yesterdays fooooood
Breakie - fruit n fibre (HEB1) milk (HEA1)

Lunch - 4 LC tesco cumberland sausages (2syn) stewed in beef stock cube with curry powder, with chopped potato in skin (HEB2), butternut squash, turnip, carrot, onion.

Tea - didn't feel well so nothing, but I ate a whole melon and had a milky hot choc in the evening

syns/snacks - sausages (2) meringues (5) melon, strawberries and hot choc (2) total 9

Ah thank you everybody, yes I have been mostly fine today, just a half hour this afternoon where I felt a bit wonky but mostly ok, and *week started as well so probably just that.

We have had a great day here, but food is wonky and could be for some time

we have made so many plans now for the next two weeks that I really don't see how I can stick to it properly so I'm going to treat the next two weeks as what they really are - our holidays. If I was going away for two weeks I'd take the break so why not now? Not proper off the rails stuff I will eat well and on plan when the options are available and obvious but otherwise I'm just going to have fun.

Today we drove 65 miles, picked up daughter from my Mum and Dads, went to Macdonalds , then drove to the city to the funfair and spent the afternoon there - I mostly walked back and forth with the buggy so -body magic lol- then a chinese buffet place for tea. I ate a lot at both meals but haven't had any snacks so I have tried to minimise the damage that way, and I didn't have a milkshake at MacDonalds to at least save on that ( always would have in the past)

Tomorrow we're driving 70 miles to a falconry place, then another 30 to an aquarium, then around 80 home again lol so no idea what we'll end up eating then either. I'm going to opt for baked potato lunches if I can find them I think.

Science place on wednesday, safari Park on thursday, school clothes and other shopping and cinema on Friday..... Saturday it has been decided we leave and car shop in Glasgow followed by a night in hotel in Carlisle, the on to his family on Sunday, stay there until thurs - stop over in carlisle again, and, *hopefully* pick up new car on the friday on the way home - if it all works out.

I'm exhausted just thinking about it!!! No idea when I can do running either should really have done some tonight but will try to fit it in tomorrow.

I had lost weight earlier in the week, crossing my fingers now I can at least sts through the next 2 weeks, but ya know we're gonna have a good time and make the most of it :)

Wow you are going to be busy! sounds like a fab time hunni, i love hols like that where you just get to spend time going round places you don't normally get time to see and woo hoo on the car! you will be near me soon i am only 20 mins outside glasgow! Is it blair drummond you are going to? we love it there have taken oldest twice so hoping to take baby this summer when hubby has time off! Enjoy your precious time, i am sure you will! xxxxx

Wow, Izzy that sounds like a super busy couple of weeks. I love the safari park too and I'm planning a little trip myself next Sunday if the weather is okay. Enjoy! x

Have a brilliant time Izzybee and worry about it when your back. We all have time off at some point for holidays thats why the plan is so good, you know once your back you will be right back on it 100%.

Hi hun... Just been reading the last few pages of your diary.... We had trouble selling our caravan a couple of years ago too.... In the end it went to someone who didn't even have a tow bar and had never towed anything before... Not even a trailer lol xxx

hee hee Mrstore well everyone has to start somewhere! It was around 5 yrs ago my Mum and Dad decided to give up caravanning and as life was a bit hard at the time for me and my daughter they decided to give it to me ( it was just an old small one but was a great gift) My Dad took me out for some lessons and taught me how to tow, and now I've been from the highlands of Scotland, to Mid wales, and Salisbury in England lol, and several places in between. Not sure if we will or not again tho.

Well been a good day, aquarium was good, however falconry centre had to close early due to staff illness so we couldn't get in there. Did go to a nice place for lunch that had loads for kids to play with so was great.

It is Blair Drummonds we are planning on Thursday it is lovely there :)

Tonight something very very strange has happened..... I went on the treadmill and I thought well last weeks was 30 mins, so tonight I shall try 33....but that came and went and I thought I'd do 35, and then I thought I'd do 40, and then I thought I best call it a night it's getting late! 2.6 miles!!!!!! shocked at meself!!!

I can have a stab at quantifying my food today too.

EE day

Breakfast - fruit n fibre plus milk (HEB plus 1/4 HEA)

Lunch - baked potato and chilli

Tea - crackers (5.5syns) cheese (3/4 HEA) ham,

snacks - kitkat (10syn) raspberries, orange total 15.5

Finally caught up with your diary pages!
Amazing well done fantastic loss I see !!!!! :)
And how good are you running all that way....in this heat too :) you should feel ultra proud of your lovely self xxx

Glad you are enjoying some nice family time, and I would have done exactly the same as you....treated the 2 weeks as a holiday from the sw plan, holidays are for enjoying! (Hence my gain.....but I really don't care cos I can get it back off, and there was no way I was going to spoil things saying 'we can't eat here, eat this etc'

Another lovely sunny warm day today, hope you have a good one xxxxx

1.5 off for me this week, expecting a gain now after the hols lol

BUT, it means it's 1/2 stone shiney week, mini target week, and 1 stone off since I had my son week :)

Not so manic today, going to a hands on science exhibition/fun place, and it's only 40-60 mins away, and it doesn't need to be ALL day, so won't be going til late morning probably, perhaps even early afternoon.

Trying out a stroller we bought yesterday for the little one today, I prefer our bigger buggy as the umbrella handles of most strollers are a bad height for me and hurt my wrists. Our normal buggy is adjustable whereas the strollers are not - unless you want to pay a small fortune - ours only needs to be used when we need boot space so hols and day trips in which case hubby will be there so he can push it lol. It won't hurt me to push it sometimes but when he was born we had his 6 yr old Aunty's buggy. It was great worked fine and we thought we had saved a fortune..... however a few months in and it became clear I was going to end up in a lot of pain using it :( and the car seat wasn't the best and he hated being in it. So we ended up buying a new buggy and car seat. Ours should do him until he doesn't need it anymore though so it isn't so bad, and he has always been happier in the car since we got the new car seat too. Pity he'll likely only be in it for another few months!

My wrists are quite weak unfortunately so it doesn't take too much to make them hurt sometimes, I think I damaged them by trying to do too much in my first years at work when I hadn't built up the strength and didn't want to admit I was struggling.

Enough waffling, time for updating and breakfasting :)
