JanD heading towards 2 years :o)))

Well most people find me via the Thomson Local (also online www.thomsonlocal.com) or you could google Reiki+your area. Or there's www.healthypages.co.uk .... I'm sure you'll find someone - there's a lot of us about ;) xx

Glitterrrrrrrrrr!!! LOL x

Monday 23rd May

Breakie - strawberry mousse

Lunch - Mushroom soup

Tea - Tuna salad with balsamic and a few mussels. xx

Saw some Jan but they are very expensive compared to what you charge! Do you charge for a consultation as well?

I'm not actually sure what you mean by that. (Being thick )

I assume we're talking about treatments. I charge a rate for a treatment. £30 as long as that's okay, though if it's a problem I'd rather they gave me less than didn't come if they need/want it.

When someone's never been before I allow a full 2 hours so that we can go through everything beforehand and they have plenty of 'coming round' time when I can make sure they're grounded enough to go back out & face the world :). This together with a full hour on the treatment couch. I don't charge any more even though it can take up to twice as long as a 'normal' session. It's a necessary part of taking on new clients imo.

Subsequently they're usually here for about an hour & 20 mins altogether.

I don't take people on for 'courses' of treatment. I don't believe in that. I think that some of the people who do that are more concerned about the £s than the welfare of the client. Though I'm sure they wouldn't see it like that.

Fact is everyone is different. Some people might have a vast improvement after one session and decide not to come again - or to come occasionally if things flare up. With some it might take several sessions before they begin to see any improvement. Every client is an individual and the course of their treatment has to be decided by them once they are aware of their options.

Sorry - waffling ... who do I think I am ... Ness?????? ;) xx

Don't even know if I've answered your question  x

I think prices may be higher down your way but don't know by how much x

Yes it made sense! basically here they charge £35 for a consultation to talk about your problems what you want etc and then £45 a hour for treatment.

So I should be charging £80 for that 1st session then? LOL! NOBODY would pay that - not round here anyway x

Hehehe that's why I was so shocked- yours is very cheap in comparison!

And I stressed about putting it up to that 3 years ago when it had been £25 for the 7 years before that ... lol xx

I might have to! Probably work out cheaper!!!!

Just 0.8lb off this week. Obviously would have liked a bit more but that's okay and all in the right direction :) Weighing in at exactly 10st 2lbs.

Tuesday 24th May

Breakie - LT Maint choc whip

Lunch - either an exante soup or bar, have both with me (babysitting little ones today) just depends where I am when hunger strikes ;) - Edit - had the bar.

Edit - STARVING this afternoon, I always forget that caffeinated coffee makes me hungry and i had 2 at the toddler group I take the boys to. Had to run into Sainsbury's local next door to the church hall for some cooked meat so I've had 2 slices of roast beef that weren't in the plan!.

Tea - Not sure yet xx

Well done on the loss Jan, like you say it's all in the right direction and you must be so happy with yourself weighing what you do now!

Thanks Bev - I must say it's a novelty. I think I may be actually starting to feel 'slim'! New feeling for me! xx

It's brilliant you feel like that Jan :) well done on the loss this week too xx

Thanks Tan - it's a strange and unfamiliar feeling and only an 'ish'! I just hope I can keep it up.

Tea became stir fried Pak Choi & mushrooms, asparagus spears and baby sweetsorn with some chicken breast & soy sauce. Also - before that had another slice of roast beef. All 3 slices were 85g altogether.

V&Cs and trying a V with ginger beer ... yes BEER this time. Got it wrong last time & had dry ginger ale ... I THINK this is nicer ... l'il bit burny on the throat - may need another couple to decide ;). I will be sure to disappear from here before I make a fool of myself again though!! xx

It WAS quite nice considering it was quite literally thrown together bits and pieces! :) xx
