:( No post at all today not even a bill or junk mail - cant remember when that last happened - maybe postie was ill - probably hurt his back carrying Present - Naughtly Present!!! I will have words with him when he does arrive :p Am sure it will be here Monday xxx
Hope you have a fab weekend.xx
Thanks Susan - you too xxx

An update on the wii situation - packed girlies off to sister in laws while we attempted to assemble wii and wii fit (early chrimbo pressie). OH then decided to try and hide it from them. So hid the balance board, remotes etc only leaving the console just in view on top of PS2 and next to DVD/video etc on unit. Darling daughters walked in - having been playing on sister in laws wii all afternoon - My darling, doesnt miss a trick daughter, Beth walked into lounge and stopped dead in doorway - mumbled OMG, OMG, OMG (getting progressively louder) then just flew into my arms almost knocking me over screaming thankyou at the top of her voice. Other two DD's ran into see what the OMG was all about and went wild, literally jumping for joy! - To say it went down well is the understatement of the year! Heaven knows what time they will be up playing on it in the morning :p

Trying desperately to stick to points at the moment as cooker packed up on Thursday - had kebab last night and chinese tonight  Think I've pointed them right - hoping brother in law can fix it ... he said it was totally bust when he came out last night BUT rang this morning to say there was one thing he had since thought of that might, just might work :innocent0001: I sure hope so as cooker (inherited when we moved in) is a range cooker and an odd width - Tis only Rangemaster that seem to make them this size and the cheapest I can find any on the net is £1500  Even then the cheap ones are either all gas or dual fuel - the all electric being £200 more - and I dont have gas on that side of the kitchen :( So its fingers and toes crossed all around here at the mo.

Hope everyone is having a fab weekend :) xxx

Oh gosh thats a nightmare with the cooker! Scrambled eggs is good in the micro?? Or baked potatos?? Cant believe how expensive it it!

Tell me about it - Would never have chosen to have one that size or as expensive! We toyed with the idea of just getting a cheaper, smaller one but then we'd have a massive gap in kitchen and in long run would cost more to get cupboards moved etc and the extractor fan would look pretty stupid being twice the size of the cooker :p Financially its a nightmare - especially at this time of year when you have 3 kiddies to buy for and Santa's bills get more expensive each year! I so thought it would get cheaper when they didnt, dare I say, believe??? What planet must I of been living on??? :p Had porridge for B'fast, scramble egg on toast for lunch both microwaved yum. Me and OH are coping better than girls lol. They just want their normal dinners which is a pain cos I havent brought them up on nuggets and chips etc and they want homemade shepherds pie, or lasagne etc. I got them McDonalds for lunch and they whinged that they didnt like it!!! Mind you could always go buy them WW meals - cos they microwaveable lol

Oh dear what a nightmare.

Small suggestion which may or not work if you have to buy new cooker. Girl at work had range cooker that gave up ghost and replaced it for half the cost with 2 cookers sat side by side. Worked for her.

Glad the girls loved the wii and sure you'll have years of fun with it

take care

m

M, that is a brilliant idea!!! Have just googled oven width and x (half the measurement of my current rangemaster cooker) and its come up with 100s :D and even better they are normal priced ones!!! :thankyou:

Thanks Keisha

cant wait to see how you've done :) xxx
Thanks Rach - girls have just gone to bed - OH gone up for a shower - yippee I can have half hour on my own on the wii :D

so have you set up wii fit yet then? x

Yes - girls havent been off wii fit all day - RRR and wii play not touched yet. Sports only got a look in yesterday. Having just done over an hour of it - I can see why they were on it all day lol. Very happy with it :D I do like the step plus :D

so how many AP's have you worked up? :D

also, how do the scales compare with the ones you were using beforehand? x

You're quite impatient tonight arent you Mrs :p (Love ya really).

Answer to first question - classing all activity as light even though i was totally out of breath and sweaty lol and rounding it down to the hour (had done 1 hour and 15 mins) - it so needs to be under rather than over! - then 3 APs.

Second question - I defo like the weighing ability - it said I was just over 16.5 :D:D:D and that was after brekkie when we set up our mii's. Mind you my GP scales weighed me much less (and that was in the evening) than my home ones but gonna stick with my normal scales in the morning for my WI's - I have a cat in hells chance of getting wii set up before school on a monday morning! Fingers crossed for the morning.

just over 16.5? thats BRILLIANT! :D i bet your eyes almost popped outta ur head! I think Wii's are brilliant for weighing.. difficult to figure out if you've lost 1/2lbs though as doesnt tell you.. but think theyre pretty accurate myself - would be horrified if really I was still 16st or something on normal scales!

also wii is dead simple to set up! Leave it all plugged in so all u gotta do is press the power button on ur wii and telly then press AV :D also you get the chirpy music to cheer you on .. normal scales dont make music for you! :p

also, you're flying with ur exercise this week :D howve you done points wise? good? am dead excited for your WI tomorrow cant wait to see how well you've done! :) :) xxx

Jax i just realised! your presents will be here tomorrow! :D :D

My last WI I was 17 stone half pound - so am allowed 25 pts by that WI result. The max I've had each day is 21 (apart from yesterday when it was 24) so almost a kick start week.

Also according to my over-generous pedometer I've racked up 12.5 AP's BUT as it's over-generous I take it off when I do my long walks and my wii's - So on top of that I have 4 hours of walks (which I rate as moderate - as I break into one hell of a sweat  and I average a mile per 16 mins :D - which apparently is classed as fast as opposed to brisk or slow) - OMG just worked that out using your formula (238lbs x 240 mins x 0.000327)- its a staggering 18 AP's - plus the 3 I just did on the wii = 21 and I just dont bother with the pedometer APs but OMG if I did - 33.5 - cant be right :8855:
