Thanks hun, girls have had wii on 24/7 and haven't allowed me on without a fight lol - so just spent 30 mins a night when they in bed - not a bad result for half an hour a day :D

That is fab!!! I really should get out with my dogs more cos when i had just the one i lost loads of weight in the summer with the walks we had!

Well I am a happy bunny this morning - jumped on scales and I've finally made it into the 16's :bliss:- in fact 16 stone 10.5 lbs - which is a whopping 4.25 lbs lost. I haven't a clue what happened last week (but am officially blaming the darn glitter) but needless to say I am ecstatic this morning!!!

Wow, thats a brilliant loss hun. Well done.

Thats excellent a real boost before Xmas, I told you it was all that glitter getting in everywhere!!

Have a resally lovely time over Xmas

M

Fantastic Jax - just what you needed after last weeks glitter disappointment

What a fantastic boost just before Christmas to keep you on the straight and narrow (or straightish and narrowish...)

Aren't bodies funny things how they hold on to weight?

You deserve to be smiling from ear to ear and back again.

Hugs xx

jax, thats fantastic ,especially at this time of year.
Think I would need to chop of a limb for any sort of loss at the moment:p

Well done you on a fantastic weight loss. Sorry i haven't caught up with threads latelky.

You take care and have a fab christmas xx

Thanks everyone - am still grinning like a cheshire cat :D (especially as TOTM arrived yesterday too - am quite staggered that I managed a loss like that on the same day that she decided to put in an appearance!)

The electrician has just arrived to have one more last ditch attempt at my cooker - so far he's replaced the small back thermostat and the front big thermostat, most of the wires and now he's returned with a new fan just in case it's that - if this doesnt work then apparently its a no-can-do job and I need a new cooker :(

Hope everyone is enjoying the countdown to chrimbo and not getting too stressed!

WOO HOO!! Eat that glitter!! Well done babe!!! How utterly fabulous!! thats over half a stone we have lost together thanks to the vile glitter going away...I think we need to escalate this up to parliament! lol

I'm sooo happy for you Jax...that WI is fantastic!! What a boost before Christmas! You deserved it hun! *hugs* xx

Woo hoo - have two bits of fab news - Firstly, electrician seems to have mended cooker - slightly pessimistic as we thought it was fixed a while back but it cut out everytime it reached about 160 degrees - just successfully cooked girls tea - am now pondering what to cook me and OH later :eating:

Second bit of news is - just found out that my GP gave me the wrong information about my PCT possibly funding a TT. She had said I had no chance whatsoever that it simply would not be done. Have since got a copy of the PCT's criteria and I should by the end of next year (having lost more weight and maintained for 6 months) fit the criteria :D I know some people are a bit funny with TT and other cosmetic surgery being done on the NHS and once upon a time I would have been one of those people. My need for a TT is not primarily due to being overweight but due to having my twins both of whom were 7lbs in weight - before having them I had a flat size 12 stomach. After having them when I lost weight back to my pre-pregnancy weight and I had an overhang of skin despite the weightloss. This did not decrease and shrink back after about a year and I found this very depressing. After a particularly bad few months where I did some very stupid things I decided that I couldnt continue like this and I needed to accept the way that I was - I decided I would rather be big all over than have this unsightly, un-sexy overhang. Now ten years down the line it is my weight that is interfering with my life and so I decided I needed to re-evaluate this and lose weight. As I'm shrinking already there is this noticeable overhang and its already getting me down, so this news that I might just be eligible for funding is the best christmas prezzie I could possibly ask for apart from £8,000 to pay for it myself!

Great news on both counts jax.
I have to say the idea of cosmetic surgery does make me a bit sqeamish but i would never try and put someone of if it was right for them. So I am glad things going your way.
Sounds like you wont be having takeaway for christmas lunch (LOL)
