Jax's Diary

Thanks all. Christmas in this house has finally arrived. Tree up, presents all wrapped, food all safely tucked into fridge - oven WORKING!!!!! House spotless - Parents arriving tomorrow. Chrimbo music playing softely in the background and cinnamon candles burning and flickering away. OH snoring his head off sprawled on the sofa having drunk half a bottle of JD!

Me ... just returned to computer having had a delicious snack (and within points) 40g of my favourite chrimbo cheese and biscuits and a third of a bottle of the red stuff. OMG if I block out the snoring from the other room and just focus on the music and the subtle scent of cinnamon wafting in ... I'm in heaven :D

Only 2 sleeps to go :) xxx
 
similar here. kids in bed, had an asda curry for tea, almost finished wrapping stuff, just 2 which am leaving til morning. all girls stuff wrapped and i feel christmassy.
cant beleive its christmas eve tomorrow. have a good one girl !!
 
Jax - your evening last night sounded lovely. We had the cinnamon candles burning too.

Thank you all - am fine - just chrimbo here is just mad!!!! It never fails to amaze me that whenever I come back and log in there are so many people who have taken the time (even at this time of the year) to pop in and leave supportive messages! Thank you to each and everyone of you!

Have had a fantastic christmas - Chrimbo day girls loved all their presents - its wonderful watching their faces light up. My parents came on christmas eve for a few days and they went yesterday and we went for a Boxing day party at OH's sisters (tis his dads birthday) and his siblings take it in turn to host this massive all day party - OMG its our turn to host next year!!!

Food wise - chrimbo eve within points if APs taken into account - girls left a bottle of port out for mrs claus - I allowed 1.5 pts per unit - hope thats right! chrimbo day - went over by 12.5 pts oops! Boxing day managed to claw 4 back - very impressive as at an all day party with a buffet being repleneshed continually before me!!! So 8.5 to claw back if I choose over today and moro - think I might just earn them in APs and enjoy my food and drink ;)

oh check you!! You have done brilliantly!! I am way over points! lol. about 15 on xmas day and about 4 over yesterday...going to be good today! Must throw out those bad peanuts!

It's great seeing their faces light up. One of my girls is a right ole tom-boy; short spikey haircut, boys clothes the works ... she was really worried that she might get pink girly things - and her face was an absolute picture as she got shin pads, footie socks and goalie gloves and boys PJ's and non girlie stationary. The other two were pink and flowery all the way lol. That half an hour watching their faces made up for the whole year of breaking up squabbles etc :D

Hey Jen, I cracked up when I read that about peanuts - last night I picked up the jar of honey roasted cashews and peanuts and handed them to OH saying - I've come to the conclusion that these are glitter-reincarnated - get rid or hide them!!!

Have just done half hour on wii and plan another half hour when I can breathe again! Then a WW meal for dinner tonight while OH and ickle ones finish off all left overs - cat or the wheelie bin will have anything that doesnt get eaten by bedtime :D
