Jenni's diary: Given up chocolate!

...and that's why he's your ex ;)

Good point! :D
Also because he's incredibly frustrating and... I could go on
But he makes a good friend :) so that's what we are now.

Thanks Emma :)

9st something this morning - I was wearing clothes when I weighed myself, lol.
I say 'this morning' but it was actually about 2pm, lol

I am NEVER working another evening shift.

They kept everyone in my unit behind for an extra hour because one of the tills was UP £300, so I missed the last bus.

Then they'd LOST my bag, so it took forever to get that, and then one of the staff had to give me a lift home and it turned out someone had taken the money out of my purse (only £5, thank God) and they had to sort that too.

So I got home at 1.30am, and slept all the way through until about 1.30pm, I was so tired :(

I'm also having a mini crisis about my new boyfriend, but thats a different story

Does everyone want their ex back when they get a new boyfriend?
The idea of having to open up to a new person is really scary :(

x

On the plus side, I got in and I REALLY wanted a big fat hot chocolate to make myself feel better, and I didn't. :)

x

Gosh you're so close now - well done!

Last nights shift sounded like a nightmare - good on you for avoiding the hot chocolate!

BTW I think its comes with the territory feeling as you do about opening up to new partners - there's a raw and scary vulnerability about it.

Yeah, I think feeling vulnerable is most of it :(

Congratulations on your stone :D bet that feels great! :)

Take a guess how much I weighed this morning :D
The big grin should tell you, right? :p

x

Yep, I'm so nearly there :D 9st 0.6 - that counts as 9st, right? :p

It's the first time I've ever seen 9st 0.something on the scales (since we didn't have digital ones last time I was this skinny! :p)

I've just realised, I've NEVER been this skinny - last time I was 9 stone, I was shorter and had no boobs! :p

I feel for you. I'm glad I'm married and don't have to deal with the new relationship thing anymore. It's been a long time so I've no real advice but I did want to say it is soooo worth it when you eventually meet Mr Right.

My husband is amazing. I couldn't love him more if I tried. Yes he drives me crazy at times (as do I him) & we have our share of arguments but the blessing of being with someone who loves you no matter what is beyond measure, having someone to share the laughter & sadness is wonderful.

Mr Right is out there, Mr Perfect may take forever to find.

Only if they have unresolved issues with their ex, I think, which you may have.

If it's just getting used to being with a new person, you know you can take that as slow as you like x

9st 0.8 this morning. :)

I'm feeling better after my mini-crisis.
It's just a bit scary having a new person in my life for the first time in about 18 months

x

Glad you are feeling better hon. My ex husband and I split up and got back together three times before we split up for good - sometimes you get used to being with someone even if they're not right for you and those habits aren't easy to break x

Oh yes - me and my ex split up and a few times before breaking up for good.

I have discovered the cause of my constant chocolate craving - TOTM :(

They always take me by surprise, lol.
Wonder why I'm having this one

x

I've decided to have a 0 point stir fry for tea because otherwise I'm really going to struggle to not go over my allowance - and I really don't need that!

x

9st 0.8!!!!!!!!! WOW! That is fab! Well done. So close to under 9 stone now. Watch this space :)

Haha.

Thanks for your kind words, totally undeserved after my major chocolate binge last night

9st 2.4 this morning

Going to try and claw some of it back (note: I say some of it, it would take me about 2 weeks to claw ALL of it back )
Hoping that my WI tomorrow will show an STS.

I realised this morning that I had EXACTLY the same crisis when I first started going out with my ex. Maybe it's just me  haha.

x

Boys make you fat ;)

Good luck with clawing it back as much as poss - hope you at least enjoyed the choc binge :)

Oh I did enjoy it! :D
There's something about watching a gory film/gory TV (Dead Set last night) which chocolate in hand.

And crisps. And cookies. And... I'll stop now. :p

At least if I've gained I know it's completely my fault.

Good! Eating is a part of life and we don't stop enjoying food (I hope!) because we want to lose weight and stay slim. Learning to enjoy a good old chocolate nosh up, not feel guilty about it, and get back on board, is part of learning how slim people eat imho x

I agree completely. It's all about keeping your weight within a certain range. It will go up and will come back down if we watch what we are doing. A bad day is followed by a few good days and all is fine :)

I still think you are doing fantastically Jenni! Well done x

Thanks :)

I'm not having a great day today, I wanted to have 16 points and I was doing brilliantly - I had plenty of points left for my evening meal etc.

Then I panicked after dinner because I had 9 points left, so I had a crunchie and a brownie and it all just went downhill from there and now I don't have any points left for a hot chocolate, and I have a really bad craving for cheesy puffs
