Jenni's diary: Given up chocolate!

Jenni, your body seems to process food in the strangest of ways - you can binge on chocolate and still lose weight - how on earth does that work. Still, I wouldn't complain if it was me.

Good luck on Monday. Glad to hear that your dad is going with you - dad's are great....though probably not at ultrasounds!!! Generally don't know what to say around "womens stuff"

I didn't know you suffered with OCD - hope the counselling kicks in soon and helps you.

By the way, just as an aside - has anyone else had a Mirena coil fitted? I have and its brill - it even stops those pesky periods! JOY!!

No, I wish I did....I have the copper coil.... 8/9 day periods, very heavy.....painful as sin and ovulation pains just to top it off! :(

Good luck for scan. x

Lou, you want to be getting that out then! I did have an almost continual 30 day bleed when I first had it fitted last November but since then, occasional spotting when my due time would be and that's about it.

Funnily enough though - still get a bit of PMT with the period - or do you think I am just looking for an excuse for my *****y, mad-woman, behaviour :D

LOL well when I first got the implant I had no periods for months - and then I got one my (now ex) boyfriend was complaining that I was REALLY moody for about a month afterwards. :p

Yeah well I will point out, that I ate less chocolate yesterday than I had for the 4/5 days before, which explains the loss. :D

Yeah, my dad will probably be completely useless, but it's nice to have *someone* there, plus it means I don't have to traipse all the way from the train station to the medical centre!

xx

Woohoo, I STSed at 9st 3 this morning. :)

I'm just hoping I can do the same tomorrow morning, but sadly I doubt it

I can't stop myself from comfort eating
Hopefully my scan will put my mind at rest and I can at least tone it down a bit.

Hope you can relax over this weekend! xx

Well done on STS - good luck with your scan tomorrow - will be thinking of you :) xxx

Goodluck for tomorrow mate. Well done on sts :D

good luck for tomorrow Jenni, and congrats on your STS thats great considering the stress you're having! x

Bear in mind that it's an STS since yesterday morning - lol.

Overall I've gained about 3lbs, which is easily lost once my head is in the right place :)

Wooooooohoooooo!!

I'm back down to 9st 2.8, AND - I'm all normal inside :D

Have to see my GP at some point, he'll probably stick me on the pill for a few months to sort things out and apart from that it's all good :)

Awww well chuffed for you! Glad the ultrasound went well xx

Really pleased that you are very normal on the insides - that must be a real weight off your mind (and I reckon that weights on the mind weigh at least 3lbs - so that's you under 9st too)

Great news Jenni - thrilled for you x

Congrats on the weight loss! And it's great that the ultrasound went well! :D
