Jess's Diary - Weighed in a day early..

Off to Brighton soon. Having a bit of a fancy dress pubcrawl with Adam's boss and his wife plus some of her friends.. oh and Adam's other boss. Such a lucky man to have cool bosses. It's a fairytale theme and I'm going as goldilocks mauled by a bear. Adam's boss #1 is the wolf from red riding hood, his wife is red riding hood and Adam is going as the lumberjack. I will try to not to leave my camera in the hotel this time and take some photos.
 
Oh that sounds like such fun! Wish I was going to a Halloween party

Thanks guys :) Left the camera in the house this time though! Other people took some pictures so hopefully they will surface on facebook and I'll stick them on here.

We don't go out very often and Adam doesn't drink very much so he really can't take his drink bless him. Everytime we go out and he drinks he gets so drunk. Bloody annoying drunk he is too :p I had to get us back to the hotel from Brighton at 2:30am.. only been there once before! He was sick all morning. We never get to eat the hotel breakfast because he's always got his head in the toilet, booo. Everytime he says he's never drinking again and every time it happens. At least it's very rare :) I had the same amount to drink as him but I am a Bromage and can take my liquor with the best of them (fortunately or we may still be wandering around Brighton now). Apart from that I had a great time, we ended up in a rock club.. it had really crap bass but was playing some tunes and I had a good boogie. My feet were caining, I'm not used to wearing heels anymore.

I think I may have to go back on a diet as since starting my new contraceptive pill I am muching a lot more. My eat sensibly plan was going well until then. I actually think going on the pill at 14 (for my skin) started my weight gain as I was size 8 then by the time I was 16 I was a size 12. Gave me big boobies though! They say that male contraceptives will be available by 2015 and I'll probably want a bloody baby by the time it comes out. Sod's law. Anyway, I'm not sure whether I should start soon or wait 'til January. Either way the weight is definately coming off next year with me joining the gym and not having to work at McDs anymore! I don't want to finally be thin when my teeth are falling out and you can't see my eyes for the wrinkles.. I'm wasting my youth as a fatteh.
 
Hehe, I talked to Jon about the male contraceptive but he refuses to have it :( I'll have another go when it comes out though :p it'd be nice to not be hormonal! He never seems to be anything other than happy, so I reckon it'd do him good to have different moods :p

Yeah, I don't get that whole man not being able to take their drink thing. Jon drank about the same amount as me on Friday, and my alcohol tolerance should be far lower cause I don't drink that often, yet it wasn't me being sick at 3am! No it was not! :p
(It was me who had to take the bin outside at 3am though, oh yes, because he couldn't make it to the sink/toilet. Bloody men. :mad:)

I made him make it up to me though! :p

I'm going back on CD, this whole sensible eating thing isn't quite working for me either :p
 
Right, I've decided I'm going to start Weight Watchers again Wednesday. I'm not sure how much I weigh, will weigh myself tomorrow. I'm going to have my weigh in days on Fridays to I'll wait 'til next Friday for my next weigh in.

So it's sausage and mash tonight, risotto tomorrow then it begins :p I think I've had a nice long break so should be able to stick to it now. When I get to goal I will try and do the Paul McK thing properly. I'm hoping for a stone by xmas.

as for male contraceptives? i am NEVER trusting Matty with the responsibility of to baby-make or not.. I have learned from my own mistakes that I must do it myself :p

Actually young Rachael I said wasting my youth ;) I'm at the age where I should be wearing daring, fashionable stuff but I don't have the figure for it. I don't want to be 70 by the time I can wear short skirts! Gotta get this weight off while I'm still young.. if it's hard now when my metabolism slows down i'll be fooked! :p I still have my sexy LBD from when I was 17 and I will be wearing it next xmas.

Yeah, I was going to have the implant but it can make your skin worse and mine is bad enough! Can't just yank it out if it does. Why can't there be a perfect contraceptive without any side effects? Is it really too much to ask? :p
 
you could cut Adams balls off.. that would do it. :p
 
As ugly as they are (all of them, not just his, lol) I may need them some day Rach and they are not much good to me in the bin!

More on male contraceptives.. there's one they're working on which is an injection that temporarily blocks the sperm tubes with some sort of gel and another injection clears them when you need to use them again. Hope they hurry up with that one, sounds fantastic.. don't have to trust them to remember to take pills and a bit of pain thrown in ;)

however.. i would put matty up for that just cause i'm so cruel i love it that he faints at needles so i force him to have his flu jab all the time :rotflmao:
 
He he there's abstinance lol but where's the fun in that! Goodluck for your restart- a stone for Xmas gone for sure xx
 
Apparently they developed one which was an injection every 4 months and an implant every 5, but I think they put it on hold because they didn't trust men to be able to remember that :rotflmao:

I had a mirena coil fitted 2 yrs ago - and other than heavy bleeding initially (tmi?), it has been plain sailing since - no other side effects whatsoever and needs to be changed every 5 yrs....and no time of the month - result!

Rach - how can you say that Jess is mean???? Poor matty. Mind you must fess up to threatening OH that I would get my dad to chase him round the garden with two bricks if he hadnt had the snip before I had my six week check after having the twins and I meant it!!!

Good luck with your restart Jess - a stone by chrimbo should be no problem :)
