JessyG's food diary - positive and determined to shift the bulge

Ooh nice!

I've been meaning to ask about your wedding. Have you made any plans yet? xx

Eek not not yet! Although we have been venue hunting! We think we've found our venue but checking out a few more just to make sure! xxxx

Woo, how fab is that on the river island trip! Well done lady. Such a nice feeling I bet xx

It was :) I have been in 10s for a while now but not so easily :) xxxx

I thought I'd reply on here so we don't take over Lil's diary! When did you go to Vegas? How long were you there for? Any top tips on where to go and what to do? xx

I think we have now discussed this on yours :D xx

You can have the choc koko milk as a healthy extra on SW! Yay! So weird, last night I saw someone on a local site selling 24 250ml cartons of it for €13 so I'm taking them off her! Brilliant! Xx

Fab lucky girl!! xxxx

Hello lovelies :) Sorry for the late post today!

Gym session last night was fab: did a good back session and some arm work as well :) Burned about 240 kcal which is good for a weights workout I think :)

Eats for today:
B - Banana; Bloobs and Strawbs with FF Greek yoghut and chia seeds; Green Tea; 500ml water
S - 10 almonds
L - Spaghetti carbanara: Wholewheat spaghetti, peas, mushrooms, chicken, bacon, peppers, with ff fromaige frais stirred through with a squeeze of lemon - slimming world dish!
S - 9 Flax Bar; Pineapple
RUN 2.5m, post-run protein shake with dark chocolate almond milk
D - TBC, it was going to be a chickpea curry but I was too tired last night to prep it. Thinking cauliflower rice with chicken of some sort. Any suggestions?
S - First 'naughty' snack this week! Healthy brownie :D

xxxx

I like nutmilks but daren't try the chocolate coconut one! I have a horrible feeling that once I start I won't be able to stop.

Jessy - you are doing brilliantly. That size 8 wedding dress is within touching distance!

Girls I am starving today! It is someone's birthday at work and they've brough in cake too! So I went out at lunch and bought an eat natural peanut popcorn bar instead! Just wolfed down that and my flax bar though! Only pineaple left to last me three hours xxxx

Have you tried drinking a pint of water? My friend swears by it but it just seems to make me more hungry!

I think I actually was thirsty as I had a green tea and 700ml water and now utterly stuffed.

I must confess I couldn't completely resist the cake. My colleague was going round asking people to have some and I felt bad so had the smallest slither (1/4 normal slice) for about 50kcals.

xxxx

No run tonight; we were both aching. So nice chilled on plan night :).

Night lovelies xxxx

Happy Friday Eve ladies :D

Good news this morning! My little cousin, not so little anymore, is getting his a-level results at 9 this morning but has found out he's got into his top choice uni! Yay so proud! :D Just found out he got AAB yippee! Clever lad!

Been thinking about what if I hadn't got the grades I needed for Sheffield .... I probably wouldn't have met my James or any of my wonderful uni girls!

Eats for today:
B - Protein pancakes with dark choc chips, healthy peanut butter and banana
S - Strawbs and bloobs
L - Going out with work colleagues but determined to make it 100% healthy
S - Nuts, 9 Flax bar, Banana
Gym! Post gym protein shake with dark choc almond milk
D - Sausage casserole with lots of veggies :)

Have a great day lovelies xxxx

Congratulations to your cousin! Mine is also getting his a-level results today but he's undecided on if he actually want's to go to uni now! I only just scraped into my second choice uni. It kind of helped that I did the Baccalaureate rather than a-levels and none of the admissions tutors understood the different scoring system so they just let me in anyway. My life would have been so different had I ended up in Swansea, and at the time I was gutted I didn't get in but things have worked out anyway.

You've really given me a craving for chocolate coconut milk now. I'm going to have to buy some on the way home I think!

Aaaw if you hadnt made it to Sheff, then we wouldnt have met either honey, so I'm sooo glad you did, I dont know where I would be without you now! :hug99:

I'm joing the gym on Monday so might need your help with some pre-gym snacks to keep me going. xxxxxx

Aww I know :) I can't imagine life without you <3

That is fine. Best food is a banana or some nuts! xxxx.

So delighted for your cousin! What a clever clogs! I'm sure he worked super hard to get his first choice so good for him! It's so funny thinking what if isn't it! I wish I hadn't gone to 3rd level though and just worked - I think it would have suited me better as nothing in my life now has anything to do with it but such is life! And here I am heading back to study! Interesting life choices I do make! Ha!

Thanks chick! And I for your sis! Yes he will have done he's always been clever though :)

It's a weird thought isn't it. But you never know what you'd have done and you might not have met Simon etc because you would probably have been at a different place in your life at the time! xxxx.

I was a little naughty at lunch. I had harrisa lamb in a pitta bread with some mint yoghurt (and some skin on fries) but I enjoyed it, drew a line, and had a healthy afternoon.

Just on way gone from the gym. Did a good circuit, some abs work, and over mile a hill incline running and walking.

Not fancying sausage casserole so doing sausage eggs and sweet potato chips! Yum! xxxx
