JessyG's food diary - positive and determined to shift the bulge

You food and motivation never ceases to amaze me hun, you are doing fabulously :)
Do you have much planned for the weekend? xxx

Food sounds lovely. Come and cook for me please!! Do you have a fitness plan at the gym or do you just do it as you fancy? xx

Haha okay ;)

When our PT does her classes we do those big majority of the time we kind of do our own fitness plan. James was in mens fitness last month and they gave him a workout outline so he does that. I tend to do mini circuits but do set myself them in advance to stop me just dawdling xxxx.

Early start tomorrow for our Whitby adventure :) I can't wait for proper time with my boy! xxxx.

Hope you enjoy your Whitby weekend, and that the weather is kind.

Wow busy day lined up! Food sounds lovely. I definitely don't have enough sweet potato in my life - you're inspiring me to get some for the weekend!!

I'm loving the piano lessons. I'd love to learn to play but I have stumpy little fingers. Dan started to teach me to play guitar but then life got in the way so it stopped. Must get into that again when life is a little less hectic xx

Because we don't allow ourselves normal potatoes that often sweet potatoes are a necessity!

I have short fingers too and I do find it hard but its about how quick you can move them ;) xxxx

Add it to your bucket list Pip ;)

Food looking fab as usual Jess - I am excited for you for Whitby!!! It came around so quickly, I remember you booking it!!

Lots of fish and chips on the menu? ;) I am JEALOUS!! xx

I think I need to start a bucket list too!

I am super super excited :D really feel like I am going on my hols! Which technically this is this year!

Yep! Thinking saturday on the journey there we are having that McDonalds breakfast I was craving ;) then having pie and peas for lunch, found a gorgeous cafe with amazeball cake, and then hopefully going to a fish restaraunt in the eve and a few pubs! Then sunday we are having brekkie at the hotel then fish and chips for a late lunch! Just looking forward to proper time with the boy not just day to day time! If that makes sense?!

xxxx

Just bought Dracula to start reading whilst we are in Whitby :) get a good feel for the place! xxxx

Now I know why my weight has been stubborn this week I've just started!

Oh well will have to grin and bear it as it is NOT running my holiday! xxxx

Ooooo.... Hope you are having the best time ever Jess xx

Thank you ladies :)

Weighed in this morning at 10.4! Oops! ;) This is how:

We had the most wonderful weekend :) On Saturday (after a McDonald's breakfast - totally overrated) we went into Whitby and ate pie and peas with the most wonderful creamy mash, shared some divine lime cheesecake with vanilla icecream, had a milkshake each, some honeycomb chocolate, then had a fish sharing platter: squid, tiger prawns, king prawns, cod, crab claws, mussels, scallops and paprika chips with sweet chili dip! Amazing! We also had some wine and beer and I fell asleep with James feeding me peanut m&ms haha!

Then yesterday we stayed in Robin Hoods Bay and it was the most gorgeous weather but with a strong breeze. We had breakfast in the hotel then walked down into the village and had icecreams, sat overlooking the sea outside and shared a cream tea, had a pint overlooking the bay, shared fish and chips sat outside looking at the sea and did lots of exploring :) it was a perfect day.

I thought Whitby was nice but over touristy whereas Robin Hoods Bay still felt unspoilt. We are thinking of going back, maybe getting a cottage or camping, and going on a walking holiday!

Here's so photos :D

Wowzers gorgeous, what a fabulous weekend! You guys are so cute ;)

Sounds like a good food day planned and well done on getting a run fitted in xxx

I am so jealous of the food! Looks like you had a great weekend. Robin Hood's bay is lovely but can get really crowded sometimes. Still, it's a lovely area for a walk.

Looks like you had a really lovely weekend with lots of yumminess :) my Mum and Dad were in Whitby camping two weeks ago and had a great time although they had to cut their stay short by a day due to bad weather. Food looks great for today! xxx
