Oh my actual God. Your eats sound absolutely insanely good! Actually salivating! I want to make your fiesta bowl so much! And your hash! And pulled pork! so much yum!

And babe, don't worry about boot camp! You still went and I'm sure did the best you could! Every time can't be perfect! And then you went for a run too! So impressed you little fitness superstar!

Hope the snow doesn't affect you much and you're wrapped up warm xxx

Hello lovely thank you for your kind bootcamp words :) although I was naughty and didn't go on the run! ;) feeling back on it now though so gymming tonight despite the snow unless it gets a lot worse!

More exciting than a tram though ;) there metro in Newcastle is still my fave I think (small train/tram)

Morning lovelies :)

Last night was gym night and I did the following: ran 3k (21 mins) I hate treadmill running :/, did my 105 squats for my squat challenge, then 3 sets of: 10 deadlift (20kg) - 10 press-ups - 10 Tricep extension (8kg, 6kg for last set) - 1 minute plank. Maybe not as much as sometimes but I focused on form and was really pushing my body last night. Got bootcamp tonight so looking forward to that - I need to not get in a fettle but just push as hard as I can at all times; it is supposed go be hard after all.

You know the fitness competition I'm doing in November? Well my trainer wants to do a progression photo shoot at the end of March. We will be doing it with her best friend too who she trained into a fab physique but now wants babies so wants a photo to show herself before she gets a bump! I'm up for it but I am nervous as although it is a gym shoot there will be some stomach on show so i need to work hard - extra motivation though.

Eats for today:
B - sweet potato hash with a sliced boiled egg
L - pulled pork with cauliflower rice, walnuts
Pre-gym - almond butter and banana
Post-gym - tuna
D - slow cooker Moroccan chicken (chicken thighs, chopped tomatoes, lemon juice, almond butter, garlic, ginger, salt, pepper, cinnamon, sage, paprika, cumin, onion, peppers) smells yum!

Happy Thursday ladies - it's nearly the weekend! xxxx
 
Photo shoot sounds great fun! What will you wear?!

Mmmm more pulled pork sounds divine. I think I might need to have it on Sunday as I have serious envy of you and Ging xx

I've no idea TBH. I might treat myself to some new kit. Something that is very flattering I think! Haha

We had so much leftover considering James and I eat massive portions xxxx
 
Jess I can't even handle how good your food sounds! That Moroccan chicken! Eh yum! Tell me more please! I want to make it! You do slow cooked beef sometimes right? How do you do it? I bought a joint but have never actually cooked one!

Right I think you've convinced me to go Paleo at some point in the near future, it all sounds so good and I've seen some amazing recipes around.

Love the idea of the photoshoot, makes me wish I'd taken more 'before' pictures. And definitely treat yourself to some new kit for it.

Fettle...I love that word! You're right though...get the form right and the rest will improve naturally over time....there's no point pushing your body in the wrong way!
Have you noticed any difference as a result of the squat challenge? 105 sounds like so many!! xxx
 
I don't think my knees would contemplate 105 squats - they normally start screaming at me by about 10! :giveup:
you've done so well darling and I'm sure you'll look AMAZING in the pictures.

It is: 1 can chopped toms, 1/3 cup of nut butter, juice of small lemon, 2 chopped peppers, 2 sliced small onions, 3 cloves diced garlic, a bit of fresh ginger, sweet paprika (I used smoked), cumin, salt, pepper, cinnamon sticks (I used powder) and chicken thighs (I used 600g) 2 cups of water. You can brown meat first but I just put all mine into the slow cooker. Cook for minimum 6 hours on low

Seriously nervous about the shoot XxxX

Haha makes me think of my grandma when I say it!

They're getting easier :) not sure about any difference as having looked at legs in mirror haha XxxX

You do start to find it easier which helps :) thanks beautiful XxxX
 
I'll have to have a go at doing some more either before of after the bike ride! Xx

There are some more beginner squat challenges out there I think xx
