JessyG's food diary - positive and determined to shift the bulge

Bootcamp was GREAT it was a tough one where we were using the same muscle group for 12 minutes so we did: set 1 core (dish, plank, walk outs and bicycle crunch) x3; set 2 legs (sumo squat, deep squats with kettlebell, walking lunges with twist and kettlebell, burpees) x3; set 3 arms (Tricep dip, weird shoulder lift thing lol, quick punches, press ups) x3. The warm up was quite intense too. The legs went really well and my pt said she wants to get me on a squat rack now :) I also usually hate lunges but the twists were an advanced move and she got me doing them. She also said I did the best Tricep dips. Then she text me after saying she had really been watching me and that my form was spot on for most of the exercises and that my core strength had increased ten fold. So the fettle I had on Monday has totally gone and I just want to keep pushing and get better.

Eats for today: completely tbc as I was so tired so just going to find something in town.

Getting my eyes tested today as I'm definitely short sighted! Actually be nice not struggling to read things afar

Anyone got any nice weekend plans? We are going to my auntie and uncle's, James gets on so well with them, and bless them they are cooking compliant Fri night sat lunch day night and breakfasts. Really appreciate it so going to take some flowers :)

It's probably a good thing that you're going doll as you dont want to make your eyes worse by straining them.

I need glasses! Don't think any suit me but I don't necessarily not like them. Just need to wear them for driving and long distance xxxx

Nope none at all. Almond milk is okay if it's got nothing added to it which most have xxxx.

I've chosen 2 pairs, which my uncle bought me bless him, and so expensive but necessary. Bought some bold and black but smaller ones for being smart at work. Then some snazzy blue ones which change to shades when it's bright which are a bit bigger. I actually really like them. Picking them up in 2 weeks so will share photos then!

One of my besties wears fake glasses too!

Morning lovelies

The weekend was on plan and bless my auntie and uncle for making such an effort. We had salmon with roasted veg and potatoes Friday night, a lovely nut and tuna salad Saturday lunch, sirloin (mouthwatering) steak with a tomato and basil sauce with roasted sweet and normal potatoes sat night. We were made omelette's for breakfast, snacks and desserts of fruit and nuts, and lots of green tea flavours :) the only way it wasn't compliant was my aunt had grated some peanuts in the salad which are technically a legume so we can't have but I certainly wasn't going to cause a fuss over that. It was a lovely weekend :)

Weighed in this morning and it flickered to 9.9 then stayed at 9.10 I'm full of wind though (sorry if TMI) so I'm blaming that lol

Went swimming yesterday and bootcamp tonight which should be good

Ooh glasses can be fun! I got some a few years ago but I never ever remember to wear them and then when I do I'm like woah! The world is so much clearer!!

Your aunt and uncle are so so thoughtful! Noone in my entire family would know how to cook for me! Eats sounded like an absolute delight too xx

Whole30 finishes next Tuesday but then there is a 12 day reintroduction period. Reintroducing dairy and wheat first to make going out for a friend's birthday easier :)

There are certain foods I don't think I'll ever go back to though.

I didn't post food yesterday! It was:
B - meatloaf with spinach and a boiled egg
L - leftover Sunday dinner
PG - banana
PG - tuna and 1/2 nakd bar
D - Tex Mex casserole (soooo good) followed with a nakd bar and fruit tea

Eats for today:
B - meatloaf spinach and egg
L - leftover Tex Mex casserole and egg
S - having a snack today as going to see family after work so won't get home until a bit later and it's easier to stay good that way - pineapple and nuts
D - slow cooker pork canitas

Went to docs this morning and going back on the progesterone only pill for a bit. She is really impressed with my weightloss and supports the clean eating so that was nice to hear.

Happy Tuesday lovelies (it feels like it should be Friday!) got a busy one today full of shortlisting!
