Well, true to type he started getting stroppy as soon as the ambulance left, I told him if he didn't take his med's and drink plenty of water he'd be back in again, that shut him up for a bit.

What a lot to deal with Jim - I remember how difficult it all was with my mum x

Morning all, it's persisting it down here and it looks like we're having flood warnings, not a problem for us as we live on a hill.

almost started work on an ark yesterday, it was bucketing down all day and evening, ugh

Same here Jim! Although I do feel sorry for those at the bottom of the hill who have to put their flood shield thingies across their doors!

Bucketing down here too - I'll probably be on drain clearance duty tonight (it blocks up with all the leaves off the tree right above it) - I push the broom handle out the window and give it a good stir about

Morning all, much brighter here, still looks bad up north though. Gem, are you in Cornwall then, I hope so.

Susie, I had to laugh at that image love.

We have the little one, hopefully it's nice enough to go to the park.

Morning Jim, nice and crisp here this morning. I thought of you the other day when that kite flying advert came on the telly. My kids loved it when they were little, it was like magic making something stay up in the air and it could be a lovely thing to do with Olivia

LOL I agree Jim, I'm sure I look a sight, sticking the broom handle out the window in the middle of the night - the blooming tree sheds leaves all the time, and loads of rubbish blows in off the street, including plastic shopping bags - all of which block up the drainage thing. I do try to sweep it clean but sometimes forget - and of course that's when it pours down!

Morning all, still wet and miserable here, nothing from jack, touch wood it stays that way. This time next week we'll be getting ready to fly off to Fuertaventura, I can't wait.

That sounds fun Lisa, maybe next year when she's a little older, at the moment when we go for a walk with her she's all over the place, thank god for reins. LOL.

Lucky you gem, i hope it stays nice for you love. I hope nobody has been affected by the flooding, i can't imagine having your home ruined like that.
