Jim's lazy Atkins diary

Ouch! May be just as well she didn't have to push the "little" fellow out. So glad all went well and your grandson is safely delivered. Welcom little chap x

Glad you've getting plenty of baby time Jim - enjoy x

Morning all,

Babies are boring, I'd much rather play with Olivia. The kids went out to a bonfire and fireworks do with Olivia and left Benjamin with us, he just slept the whole time. I think Colleen was disappointed, she was looking for an excuse to pick him up and cuddle him. LOL.

I love babies Jim - and I love little people too - saw my grandsons yesterday and it was great x

Morning all,

Gem, how often do you get to see him?

There are 3 of them Jim - an 8 year old, a 6 year old and one 5 in January. To be honest Jim, I don't get to see them very often. We have to make a journey to West Wales which takes around 2.5 hours so a day trip is quite tiring. It is better if we can arrange an overnight stay nearby. We were at a motoring do at Celtic Manor on Saturday so we used a deal we had and moved on to Llanelli for the overnight stay so the journey was a lot easier this time. We usually spend around 3 hours there and then another long journey home. I guess we get to see them every 6 - 8 weeks - sometimes more, sometimes less. We usually take Bugsy (my little smart) as their driveway is long, muddy and full of craters and Bugsy has good ground clearance - not like the audi, which grounds frequently - I end up getting out and walking - wellies essential! With all the animals around you have to avoid horse poo and cowpats too so night walking is a bit hazardous x

Morning all,

They sound a right handful Gem, and what a place to live it must be a kiddy paradise. We are so lucky having our kids and grandkids living so close really.

I love seeing them Jim and they know what Granny & Grumpy are for - playing, reading and cuddling - not to mention soaking Granny when she is drafted in to do the hair wash in the bath - The eldest hates it so he says "If you attack me with the jug, I'll make you wet" - so I say " You know Granny always wins - easier to give up now......" and I win..... every time x

Morning all,

We are off to Jacks again today, still lot's to sort out. Why do old people have so much clag? Mind you, I don't envy the kids having to empty our house when the time comes.
