Heya - all went well...baby moved around fine this time...little rascal is playing games with everyone lol 
Its just mental how long everything takes. We were there from 3.30 in the afternoon until 11.30 at night and so im shattered again.
Consultant has told me to keep an eye on his movements and come in again if im worried. Also - instead of my usual midwife appointment on Monday...im now booked to see a consultant instead. Full term on Monday aswell so that's pretty exciting
Must admit I am a bit fed up now....I am seriously done with feeling constantly rubbish and would like my baby to make an appearance now!

It takes forever to get anything done with hospitals - just wait for it if you end up being induced! I was told to arrive at 10pm but nothing happened until 3am the next day lol.
Same when I had suspected preeclampsia and they wouldn't let me leave after my consultant appt - appt was at 2.30 and I eventually got home at 9.00! We had takeaway that night

Glad everything went ok at the hospital and hope FIL is on the mend. There's nothing like a hospital stay to make people look at what they're doing to themselves so maybe it'll be the kick up the bum he needs!!
Hope everything goes ok at the consultants tomorrow. I'm at midwife tomorrow then consultant Tuesday, hopefully for an induction date.

Full term today!!!!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKK!!
Cant believe that he can come at any stage now....so exciting!! I intend to get hubby to put the waterproof sheet I bought on the bed tonight in preparation for my waters going at any stage now! The little things....... lol
Its been a long weekend. It was my mums birthday on Saturday and so we had an Indian in the evening and spent time together and had cake etc. Yummmmm. Was lovely. We also took our dog for his haircut/clean etc in preparation for baby coming aswell. He looks and smells lush I also went to Mothercare and got my last hospital bag item - 2 nursing bras.
Sunday it was my hubbys aunts 40th birthday and so we spent the day at his sisters celebrating that. They ordered curry aswell lol I got lots of snuggles with my SIL's baby boy so was very happy hehe
FIL seems to be ok...hes out of the hospital now and the family are making him take it easy and making sure he eats/drinks right etc. Hes got to have physio on his arm/hand...but apart from that is absolutely fine
Consultant appointment this afternoon. Part of me is hoping for an induction date but I know that's wishing for too much and isn't going to happen lol I just want my baby....NOW!!

I don't feel beautiful at the moment lol I feel fat and not very 'glowing' haha. Oh well...Plans for xmas....not much really. Spending the day at my mums opening pressies and eating food then my MIL's in the evening. Not too much running around because...well.....I just cant lol You?
I'll be honest....im much more focused on baby coming than xmas...not too bothered by xmas at all this year lol

I think the 'glowing' thing is a big fat lie!!! How can you possibly feel glowing when you feel crap most of the time? Mind you, that could just be me, I'm sure some people do glow.
Me and Tom were saying this morning that it doesn't feel like Christmas this year yet because we've not really been able to do much and everything is pretty much centred around baby. Maybe it will on Wednesday when we get to open presents and eat my dad's big fat dinner

That is exactly it.....Ive barely thought about xmas to be honest. Everything is centred around just wanting baby to be here etc.
It'll be better next year when we've got our babies and wanna make it all nice for them etc

Saw the consultant and feel like he didn't listen to a word I said.
Basically...he wants me in tomorrow for another scan and monitoring of baby's heartbeat.....and then wants me to come in everyday for monitoring of baby's heartbeat etc.....including xmas day, boxing day....everything.
He didn't listen to me when I said that I only just had a scan on Monday and everything was fine. He didn't listen to me when I said baby's movements have been absolutely fine for the last 8 days....since the last incidence of reduced movements.
Stressed out isn't the word.
Im gunna have the scan tomorrow and monitoring of baby's heartbeat and when it shows everything is fine Im gunna ask to speak to a different consultant and explain that the other one didn't listen to me and that baby's movements have been fine and that daily monitoring seems pretty extreme

I think it's def a good idea to speak to someone else but don't forget they are doing what they see best for the baby! (Trust me it's hard getting used to it but no1 will even ask how u are once the baby I here, it's all how is the baby etc lol) if they want to monitor baby for a little bit there has to be a proper reason...if they were refusing to monitor the baby u would be upset wouldn't you??

Have to say as annoying as it is I agree with Cai. They wouldn't want to it for the craic. They're busy too. It's best they keep a close eye than miss something.

Well....I went in and the scan went fine (baby waved at us....nawwwwww) and the heart rate monitoring was fine again too. They have booked me to go in tomorrow but basically said if his movements are normal tomorrow to ring and cancel it and then come again from boxing day. So at least I don't have to worry about getting into hospital Christmas Day.
Its hard....one part of me says to just let them monitor everyday and then at least I know baby is ok every single day etc (but then his movements tell me that anyway).....but the other part thinks its pretty extreme given that since his last episode of reduced movements he has been fine. I really personally think that I should only go in to be monitored 2/3 times a week (this is what was originally suggested at the time of the reduced movements)
Oh well....I will always go in if im told to.....its just...frustrating, and all the stress is causing arguments between me n hubby too. Having to cancel seeing people at xmas time and not being able to just relax and enjoy everything
