I know it's a different concept.. but I read an article about a girl who started doing weights (like heavy, heavy!) she gained 10lbs but was the same size..

I'm thinking with JUDDD you must be retaining muscle rather than losing both muscle and fat?! which as is common knowledge is denser

Yes you are right I put a link to an article on here somewhere about how with an ADF style diet you lose fat as opposed to water , muscle and fat, with this diet its Fat, which then of course shows quicker on your body as if you lose muscle how would that make you look generally slimmer?

Sounds like a really interesting article Jo, is it in ur diary somewhere? I shall have to go ahunting if so! Loving your NSV's, so many people experiencing them too-winner! And honestly what would we rather, fit in to smaller trousers or see a smaller number on the scales?! We get too hung up about weighing i think (and i am more than guilty of this!) but its what we look like and how our clothes fit that really counts! xx

Ooo some late night reading after my gym session tonight thanks :)

I find this stuff so interesting, I work hard on my muscle & fitness so glad I won't lose it or feel flabby like I have before :D

Dee what training and stuff do u do? If u hadn't cottoned on yet I'm a bit obsessed with sports and could spend all day talking about training-im a real bore! xx

Nothing spectactular like you lol! I have a personal trainer once a week, and I do a lot of weights (the resistance machines when I'm on my own, but my OH does free weights with me when he can..) I'm quite proud of how strong I'm getting, I use barbells and heavier dumbells now! My OH really pushes me, which I like because I feel it haha!

I normal do interval, running, on the elliptical, on the bike, as well as really high hill climbs (on the bike it aaaaaaaaaaaches!)... but if I feel like it I will do long runs.. 2.5k if I'm lazy...5k if I feel like it!

Umm I do pilates as well.. although I had to miss last weeks cos I had no car! :( I have my own boxing pads and sometimes spar with my trainer or OH, and there's a circuit class which includes boxing opening up soon in my town so I'm planning on joining that!! I think that's it lol, I'm really proud of how my abs are coming along mostly tbh! I work really hard & I can hold the plank longer than me OH which is something for me hahaa :D

Wow! I'm impressed! I want to develop the fitness addiction.
 
That's so TRUE about nsv, my high waisted jeans I have on today I couldn t get on 2 weeks ago and unfortunately the scales haven't moved but my tape measure has, very weird but I like it.

Sounds pretty darn good to me baby girl, go you! Strong muscles are the way fwd (literally!) You will naturally look slimmer for holding yourswlf better and also strong muscles will help burn mire fat in a daily basis-winner winner chicken dinner! Def get involved with more boxing, its the bestest! Never sweated so much in my life (nice!) Loving ur work with abs too, congrats u must be chuffed! I had some upper ones back at the end of june but then i ate them away again lol. Set myself a lil ab challenge to get them back by beg nov which is my bday :)
Right i am going to stop clogging up jo's page with my twaddle but just to say i have just posted a homemade protein bar recipe in my diary (will put in the recipe bit too if i can find it!) They would be great for u i think xxx
 
Wish my joints allowed me to be fitter, watching the Olympics really made want to go and learn to row !!! Anyway back to reality, second DD today and I think my body learned about my plan and is protesting, only lost 2lbs after yesterdays DD which is very unusual for my first DD of the week, so I have a sneaky suspicion that its going to be mean to me and will show na STS after this DD, don't know why just have a suspicion grrrr. Anyway only just got back in from the School run , got loads to do so will be too busy to be hungry lol. I am not actually very hungry haf a few rumbles in town so have just had an early lunch but feeling nice a satisfied now xx Have a lovely day all xx

1 tin mushrooms sliced (toasted on the bread yum yum) 14 cals
milk allowance 150 cals

Total 444 cals may squeeze in a muller light if I am struggling later, will take me slightly over but its my 2nd DD so I will have it if I need it.

Well survived my double DD the only bit I found hard was dreaming about food constantly last night, I wasn't hungry just kept waking up after having mad food dreams ????
Well weighed in this morning at 12 1 (my scale seems to like that number at the moment) which meant a 2lb loss after my DD no 2 , so back to my official weight, UP[ day today then another DD tomorrow and them official weigh in Fri as Fri is going to be an UP this week. Don't think I will be seeing the 11's this week but def feel nice and slim after my 2 DD s.

Well done on sticking to 2 DDs.... I have decided that this week my DD will consist of only water, no milk, coffee or anything else and see what happens then. The first week I did JUDDD it didn't make a difference whether I ate or not, but as my weight is going slowly thought I would try it again. I also find it easier really coz it is only when I eat that I get really really hungry like last Friday.
