Kat1e's Diary - 7 years low carb - still learning!

You're doing brilliantly Katie... I might take a look at your menus on mfp... xx

Hi Di,

Part of my maintenance journey has been stopping tracking food so havent been on mfp since may/june!

I'll post a few menus though if you're interested. Last nights dinner: prawns, leeks, boursin, baby toms (OWL onwards), avocado

So yummy:D

That looks amazing Katie! X

I just had a senior moment - of course I knew you had stopped posting on mfp ... Doh!! Lol

Evening Katie, such wonderful posts!

You always said from the get go that Atkins suited you, and I was so bowled away by how well you were doing, even when things got a bit tough.

Now you're completely at ease with the maintenance stage, and I think it's utterly brilliant! xxx

Evening lovely peeps:)

Day 2 of no vino and i really want a glass of white to go with the delicious smelling salmon and veg currently roasting in the oven:eek: that gives my weak spot away!;)
Back to zumba today and really enjoyed it so will keep focused on something every day. Also my first coaching session after the hols - went well so that's a relief:)

Lots of email and work for my charity but otherwise life is good...
Have a lovely evening
Xxx

Morning, well done on getting back to exercise so quickly...vino..mmmmm

Evening all:)

Day 3 of no booze...i will get to friday! Actually not really so bothered today so proves that even a 7 week habit starts to fade fairly fast - phew;)

Just started pouring here and i've been freezing all day - must be winter:eek: decided to skip dancing and just do 30 mins in the gym- needed to stretch my shoulders out as they are playing up.

Lovely lunch out - chicken kebab with a greek salad - delish:D then DH made my favourite burgers with chorizo inside - highly recommended!
Have a great evening
Xx

Chorizo with burger sounds great, I love a homemade burger wrapped in lettuce. Well done on the vino.

hi Katie,
skip dancing? what sort of dancing do you do? i dont know how to attatch quotes in posts i have not found that yet, is it easy? also how do you view peoples recipes on mfp? if i go to the recipe section they are blank and i cant find the bit to go to. Are you under the same name on mfp?

If you look at the bottom right of the post that you want to quote there is a 'reply with quote' link. Click on that x

Hello Katie! Well done on not having vino xx

Evening all:)

Just back from bellydancing - although teacher said she would be gentle, think she decided to check how many muscles had forgotten what to do over the summer;) Tomorrow may be ouchy:eek:

Day 4 off the vino but tomorrow is the weekend so back to normal phew. Come to think of it, we're visiting friends and staying over sat night - may be very "jolly" and doubt i will be 100% sunday morning.....

Have a good evening
Xx

Hi Stubbsey, i love dancing so cram in as much as possible;). Currently do zumba, belly and a general one called dance motivation which covers all styles :D. Would love to do tap again but difficult to find classes. Waiting to try bokwa which Bren raves about!
