Kat1e's Diary - 7 years low carb - still learning!

Well done Katie, fantastic result and pleased that OWL is a success for you.

Morning katie, that's great news love, well done.

Sarah, there was an item on the news last night from Kew gardens, saying how many of the plants are blooming again, thinking it's summer.

Afternoon all:)

Having a wonderful weekend although only just got a minute to sit down:). Thursday night was lovely - met a friend for drinks and snacks sitting outside and then onto a friends leaving drinks - nice to see many of my previous colleagues and plenty of compliments on shrinking:D plenty of wine and rum and sodas consumed;)

Then yesterday rather a lot of telcons in a rather steamy house and then almost melted getting to and from my aircon dance class on the bus! Went round to my parents to stay with DD last night so got fed a nice roast dinner too. Then up early and off to zumba while the grandparents dropped DD at her theatre class.

I was just walking through Richmond when i HAD to stop and buy two dresses in the sales at monsoon and east! Well if hubby will disappear off all weekend....:D

Off in half an hour around to my friends so the kids can play and we can have a bbq - expect i will fall into a swimming pool of wine so hope we make it home;)

You're doing so well Katie! :)

Afternoon all:)
Spent a very hot dull hour waiting in line to meet Cressida Cowell at the book shop. Worth it for DD who gave her hugs, got a photo and is now the proud owner of a signed copy of How to steal a dragons sword:D

DH is finally home after a great boys weekend of golf - time for us all to put feet up. Biggest decision left - bbq or takeaway?!

That's a tough decision Katie! I love them both and at the moment I could eat a rhino - horn and all! :)

I've had a big eating day too - so what did you have in the end?

Wanted to ask about your Kindle - which one do you have? I was looking at the £109 model, but there's the £89 one without the actual keyboard - but the more expensive one has a lot more space. Any advice?

Evening Katie, I don't know how you find time to fit it all in (and that is from me!!!!!!) :D are we getting dress piccies? x

Morning Katie - what did you decide? Take away or BBQ ? :)

The new one has only 2GB of storage as opposed to 4GB in the other models Susie, 1 Have the 3G one and love it. I like the fact I can download books from anywhere. On the plus side the new one is much lighter and without the keyboard much smaller, though the screen is the same size

Morning Katie shopaholic. :)

Morning Katie

Sorry Jim, I liked your post without thinking - and then unliked, but you may still get an email?

Think I'll go for the £109 one, I don't need the 3G :)

Hi Susie,
Sorry a bit slow catching up! I've got the wifi keyboard one (109 i think) and very happy with it. Having said that i have ordered the 89 quid one as i would love to have a smaller lighter one - planning to test and then give my mum one for christmas...or some excuse like that;)

Whichever you get - they are fantastic! :D

Evening all:).

Final decision sunday night was takeaway - lovely chinese duck and DD enjoyed her pile of pancakes:D left the bbq for tonight although DH needed a torch to see what was going on - whoops

Had a lovely day up in town again for coffees and lunch with various friends - enjoying the sunshine before it disappears for the winter! Also went to zumba this evening - rather warm  !!!!!!!

Now need to knuckle down for a few days to catch up on emails, check in on my charity and do some review and reflection before the next module in my training course (thursday). Also the rather full on party weekend included rather a lot of empty calories (moi?!) so need to be rather cleaner and greener to help fridays weigh in;)

Food today:
B bacon eggs half slice burgen toast
S pork crackling
L strada steak and salad (yum)
S celery houmous, pistachios
D lamb kebabs, brocoli, beans, peppers - all done on the BBQ. Last one of the season?
Edit snack - low carb wrap with salami and cheese. Realised i hadnt had enough cals and was starving:D

W lots
E zumba:D
A no of course not....

Xx
