Week one complete and as of this morning I'm 12-6 which is an 11lb loss for the week so I'm made up with that I really need to buckle down and stick to this now as due to holidays/breaks it's been over two months since I first hit this weight so it's now onwards and downwards.... xx

Oo Katie good luck with the running! Are you starting with 30 seconds?
Poor Marco wearing the cone of shame
I'm doing a run, walk, walk, run walk walk based on lampposts on a 1.2 mile circuit that TH has shown me - here's hoping I survive xx
Ooh and I forgot to let you know the latest news (suffering!!) - TH informed me today that as we've both been around the same weight (down, up, down) for a while that she's thought up an idea where we have to lose a certain amount, by a certain point in time or do a forfeit! So her plan is that by 23rd December we have to be 10st 6lb or below and if not the 'punishment' (she accidentally slipped out the real word!) is that we have to walk a marathon one day in January - when I said "I'm not bloody walking 26 miles" she said "it's 26.2 miles" ......hmm like that made me feel any better - so that's it, the challenge is on! I'll weigh less than that on that date if I've got to chop something off
Ha! Gotta love TH!! That's a great forfeit! And by that point you'll feel so good at the weight you are that you'll want to walk the marathon!

Hi Sleek I have a fitbit one and I love it, I also use the fitbit app on my phone to measure and log the walks as I do them - my hubby cannot believe the difference in me in that I love walking, he never thought I wouldYou have done really well Katie! I love the sound of your long walks; I do enjoy walking, but wish there were more scenic routes in London. Do you have a FitBit or Garmin Vivofit, by any chance? It sounds like the perfect gadget for a keen walker, like you!
