I know your gonna think I'm stupid but I've been crying in bed, I know I'm the only one that will not lose on the challenge after this big dinner, I really don't want to go, but I can't say no to her :(.
Oh Kay I don't like you hurting like this, it's easy for us all to give advice , I know I would be the same getting stressed and upset ,

Thanks Von, I've tried to reason in my head with `what's the worse that can happen ' and that would be that I have a blow out day tomorrow and sts or gain on Tuesday which means this whole last week has been a complete waste for me ! :mad:

It hasn't been a waste , if you do sts that's ok, if it's a little gain you will shift that next week , you had a loss after your Chinese so it can be done xx

Aww Kay *big hugs* I really feel for you. I can't say any more than Von really. We all hate to see you like this. I know where you're coming from 'cos I'd hate to feel like I was being forced into eating high calorie foods too! I mean its not like anyone is forcing you, but I understand you not wanting to cause an upset. Remember its not like you're weighing in the next day, you have all Monday to be 100% on plan, drink lots of water and maybe eat some prunes to entice the pf to come calling. I know its not ideal but even with 1 high cal meal if you're eating soup for your other one I doubt you'd be going too much over your daily maintenance calories. xxxxxx

Indian is a lot more calorific compared to Chinese, everything is deep fried, I'm just hating the fact that my hard work will go to waste. I only have next week Von then its my operation won't have a chance after that :cry:.

Thanks Bev, I won't be drinking soup tomorrow the challenge finishes today for me. But I am thinking not to eat breakfast tomorrow, I will just eat at my mums. I wish this dinner was a few days before then I would have a little time before my weigh in. When I had the Chinese it was a Saturday, this is Sunday too close to weigh in :(.

I will try Von but its all going to be heavy on calories, I know it will taste yummy, mum cooking after all but I'm just not used to oil anymore :rolleyes:.
 
You might be right, but its out of your control so you can just adapt to it as well as you can. Drink LOADS of water on Mon and we'll all be hoping for the best for ya.

More than anything though, weight loss or no weight loss, I just hate how it makes you feel so sad. Hope you feel better in the morning hun and actually enjoy it, life is for living. If your loss doesnt show this week because of the meal and water weight, then it will the week after. You can't undo a perfect week with one bad meal xxx

Yea I get that , we get used to how we cook, I must admit being here and not at home has helped me , my sis and I share a house , she now married so bruv in law aswell,
And I usually work every Sunday she will cook and nothing is the healthy way ,

I don't think I'm going to even bother to try and calculate syns tomorrow, no point in writing a food diary, I will just put it down to an unplanned blow out day ! :sigh:

I think that's best , you know you will be over Syns , calculating them all won't make you feel any better you will stress more,

I hope you're right Bev. I think its the timing more than anything that's got me so upset. You know in my pm's to you for a while I've been saying I want my 4.5 st before my Op. That's why I had the x2 challenges in place to help get me there. Mum just sprung this dinner on us the other day, I was not planning on a blow out meal in my last 2 weeks :(. It just puts pressure on me in my final week to lose weight. :cry:

I know its the last thing you need weight loss wise. I guess she just wants you all to get together for Easter, I think you should def mention in future about a healthy option though, its not fair really that you have to blow your diet like that. Of course I'm sure she hasn't even thought of that and thinks you'll love the food like you did before.

I guess it does put pressure on your final week, but if anyone can rise to the challenge then you can! You have 3.5lbs to go, so surely you'll have at least 1/2lb loss this week if not more, then for you 3lbs is perfectly doable in a week. Basically so long as you don't gain this week (and I cant see that happening) I think you'll get your award in time xx
