Kay hope I'm not too late but was just thinking....have a little bit of your mum's food then say your not used to all the oil anymore as your body is basically clean with all the healthy food you eat. Say the oil isn't sitting right in your belly and it's making you feel sick so you'll stick to the chicken and salad. Use the other old chestnut of your stomach's shrank cos you don't eat as much as before so you can't possibly fit it all in. If she gives you food to take home...bin it or give it to your next door neighbour. Hope this helps.
